Thread's like this don't exactly help.. http://www.alexandraburkeofficial.com/foru...wthread/105666/

But at least 3 of those charts are airplay, so in terms of sales (which is what was being talking about, "not sure alex will sell in europe," "it's selling well", etc) they mean nothing. The only 100% sales charts it went top 10 in were Norway and Sweden. I think the Bulgarian chart is also airplay too or includes airplay. In the netherlands it went to 8, but only 24 on the sales chart

Really? It only went top 10 in a two/three countries. It didn't chart at all in France, Spain, Portugal despite quite a bit of promo

She's release another male collab, so I guess they're moving on already

Not really when she's sold over 2m singles remember... ;)

That includes the sales of ANL up until last week, so yes we should wait, but there's no way ANL is going to make a HUGE difference to that total. She may overtake JLS for sure, but it's not as though she will have sold twice as many as them or something like they have nearl done on albums

Including hallelujah would be stupid given it's ridiculously inflated sales not the mention unfair, seeing as JLS didn't have a "winner's song". Those are the single sales from when both artists started their current album which hallelujah, IMO, wasn't a part of. If however you do want to include hallelujah then we should wait until JLS release a fourth single before we compare. Comparing the sales of 3 singles vs 4 is never going work, espically when one of the singles was launched with huge hype as The X Facto's winner's song. However including hallelujah doesn't make it look any better for Alex, with over 2m+ singles but only 600k (just) albums sold. Compare the same to JLS and Cheryl, and their album sales as a percentage of single sales is well over 50%

    Actually she hasn't sold more yet: Single sales: Cheryl - 1,460,259 JLS - 1,151,900 Alexandra - 966,600 Leona - 337,128 Diana - 134,819

It's used in tonight's Britain's Got Talent too, so expect it to rise again

It's featured again in the new episodes currently on BBC3
  12. No, it's launching Fall 2011
  13. it charted at 4
  14. 10+13 in the midweeks, and it has the potential to climb above the two above it (Port Issac and Lady Antebellum) by Sunday to remain a nonmover. Hopefully that's another 9k or so onto the total, so should definitely hit 800,000 the week after
  15. As Steve says, he performed it on March 19th too along with Cheryl who performed Parachute on the same night, hence why they both went up the charts at the same itme
  16. It climbed after Parachute because that just happened to be the same time as Rufus hound's FFTL performance
  17. total sales now of 786,122 So will pass 800,000 in the next 2-4 weeks depending how it holds up
  18. #23 sold 8,170 so a nice healthly lump onto the total sales again, anyone got a total?
  19. Up to #21 this week, so good to see! Another good 6-9k sales there. Hopefully the cheaper price, plus the tour and Radio 1's Big weekend hype/promo will keep it in the top 40 for a few more weeks as Parachute will leave now
  20. I reckon Rain On Me and Stand Up would both do very well, I think if any one of them is going to be released, it'll be the tour reaction that decides it.

  22. Even better considering the album sales too. GA's singles were really affected by the how much OOC sold last year. Even with 700k+ albums, for her singles to be selling 300k+ is brilliant
  23. Yeah, but she's in the papers every day  Hopefully the two nights at the o2 this week will help it back into the top 20 again
  24. Up to 20+1 in today's midweeks, perhaps could well go back into the top 20 No idea why, given she hasn't toured here yet, there's been no promo and the single is down at 40-6, but still good.
  25. Sales increase this week :D Another 5.2k+ on the total (#38, at #27 I'd guess 6-7k)
