Yes. I love how this was all and only about Women, regardless of ethnicity and age. The music industry is so racist and ageist. Melanie might not be as big as Beyoncé, but she sold her million of records, got awards, collaborated with amazing artists, and used her platform to be a positive role model. Sometimes we forget it’s not only about chart positions and trendy cool-factor.

Whenever a solo project doesn’t meet the expectations, I always try to support it no matter what. This is because I’m aware, most of the time, the big issue behind is lack of money or sort of. Then you have people judging the girls and destroying whatever they do as if it was a big deal. Remember: solo project = not much coverage, mostly only fans know. I’d love to see the same treatment for the brand Spice Girls whenever they do something not worth the wait - considering that, yes, in this case there is a way higher possibility to tarnish their legacy because of the visibility. So, IMHO, this 25th celebration is p*ss poor. You can see none of them give a damn about it. I hope it flops hard. They need a wake up call.

Although I’m not the biggest fan, this is a good skill to have. If she has learnt how to produce, this can be good to have credits on her next album and get recognition for that. If there’s something we can’t deny, apart from albums Reason-VOM being meh, is that she doesn’t rest on her achievements, she always pushes for more. Great job, Mel!

I used to love this album, but it didn’t age well. Still, I think Holler is one of their best songs.. and now that Victoria is out, I don’t see the three girls celebrating something where the other two are not involved.
