I personally don’t like Woman, but I think it’s time to give us the unreleased album. We already have a title: (B-side are) B-sides for a Reason.

The song is not bad sonically. The lyrics though.. so cringy. Thank God it wasn’t included in the album.

Victoria should say: Harper will grow up as a free woman - and when it’s time, she can listen to the song herself. The spirit of Girl Power. Or was it just a gimmick? I understand what you say, of course. But I think they seem to be all prudes bar Mel B.

I see your point. But ABBA never had songs like IYCD where Geri talks about male genitalia or 2B1 about safe sex, or Holler.. and many others lines especially in Spice. I think as Mr.X said, they should release the unreleased stuff as an extra disc. No promotion.. a fan release only.

It makes sense. I’m not the biggest Geri’s fan, but I don’t think it’d be great to celebrate an album that doesn’t include her, an album that only fans remember it exists (don’t get me wrong, I love Forever, but I think Spice compared to it is a punk record).

I can see Victoria listening to C*NT - as she forgot it existed - having a seizure and Geri proposing to rewrite the lyrics to be more housewife friendly. Gurl, after all these years with David effing Beckham, you don’t have to pretend to be vanilla - same goes for Kinky Spice Bunton, we stan a naughty queen and we know she secretly is.

I want Spice World to be huge. The movie should be on Netflix, they could recreate the merchandise around that era (Polaroid, lollipops, and all that stuff).. and the most important things: Viva Forever dolls! Also, a huge TikTok campaign with the Stop dance routine, NGUOTGT justice, Can’t stay tonight with all the girls, streaming of their concerts, and Viva Forever video original ending (because the new one really really s7cks).

1) C U Next Tuesday: Melanie and Biff are trying to understand how to release it. Rumor has it that Adele is going to record the song with Lily Allen, Cheryl, Mutya Buena and Heidi no-Range as Baby Spice. 2) Christmas song: Melanie is down for this (she was seen testing the Wikipedia page on how it’d look like with another Xmas #1 to her name. The veto has hit again though: all girls, Victoria included, voted unanimously to prevent Geri to write the lyrics after she proposed the title “A Merry Royal Christmas (in South Africa). 3) Solo: She hit the studio with fellow 90s survivor Natalie Imbruglia for Loving You pt II - a more inclusive version of the duet with the hunk guy whose name I don’t remember (but I know he’s packing and I always put my mouth where the package is). There’s gonna be a video, and yes, they’ll kiss.

We want to know more about CU Next Tuesday and who was the stumbling block?

So biased. You decide when someone is successful or not according to your taste.. wow. To me, it’s a great result because our fans we support them whatever they do. It’s a flop, on the other hand, because none of them bar Melanie C (with posts, interviews and performances) has given anything back. And by the way, artists promoting hard their releases are not cheating - they are working and doing something which is a bare minimum when it comes to a product they care for and want to do well!

Sorry, why making it about Melanie C vs Spice Girls when: 1) thanks to Mel we got two Spice related released in the top 10 in 2020/21 2) Melanie C was the Spice Girl that most of the them committed to the promotion of Spice25 3) After 25 years both group and solo we can see them charting and be proud of that as fans I can’t understand the bitterness from both sides.

Do we have any info about streaming? I mean, UK-wise? Is it getting better?

You’re right. But I thought that the multi formats were going to help delivering at least 15K. Streaming is again the main problem I guess. I can’t wait to see the physical chart - the only one that matters to me.

I don’t agree with the silly acoustic part. Some of my (indie) faves do that and they’re as good as the SG. Actually, let’s not try to find excuses, I was expecting bigger numbers.

How many copies did Melanie C sell in the first week? I mean, still proves the Spice fanbase is still there if one day they decide to release something (worth it).

Deserved to be #1 at least to convince Sticky Vicky to join the group for future projects. That bee.
