So proud of Melanie C and Emma for spending some of their time promoting this release. Also, there’s an interview going around where Melanie C said C U Next Tuesday was vetoed and finally not included in Spice25. She said the song is a bit Lily Allen-ish and that eventually she’ll find a way to release it. In the meantime:

Sorry, that’s disappointing. I’m waiting for the lyric video + release day. I’ll only support the girls directly involved. I’m sick and tired of zero efforts. We know we won’t get live performances or other stuff. A video, new photos or even a bit more social interaction would have been a SMALL way to thank the fans who are buying a record they already have.

I love that she’s embracing her Spice persona, I mean the US have been so pro-Spice. And good that everywhere she goes they also talk about her solo career, it’s not gonna do wonders for her, but at least increases the chances of having people in the industry interested. I hope she uses this time to get inspired as ir happened with Northern Star. Loved the Coldplay post where she said she can’t wait to be back there “with other three girls” (bye Vicky B).

Same. Love Northern Star the song. And Life in Mononucleosis is still one of my fave solo albums. I don’t agree on Goin’ Down, I think she was really unwell at the time and she tried whatever she could to find an identity. She was the one in the back, she struggled all her career to find a voice. To me, the most honest she’s been is Melanie C the album.

Maybe, you are wrong Ba-da-da-da-da, ba-da-da-da-da-da NBTSA is the best solo song. Goin’ Down is 100% energy. I agree with ITWM being not single material. But the whole album is great. Go back and listen to Emma 😂 (I choose All I Need To Know, my favorite song of hers).

I can only see Melanie C and Geri having a best of TBH.

One of the best albums of those years. Best solo album ever. IMHO part of the trinity (Spice, Spice World, Northern Star). I don’t agree with Closer being called a filler, but I can get some people not being into long outros and stuff.

Who cares. People love her - and of course she doesn’t have a huge fanbase there, but the comments across the platforms were amazing. I’m sure there’s more to come in the US, don’t forget Melanie is a Talent: she can sing, dance, act, and do many other things. What a woman, pure girl power. So happy she’s coming with new music as she said! It’s always a privilege to be a Melanie C fan.

I know many people don’t like that. But I think Melanie should do more theatre. Solo and Spice Girls won’t be affected by it. She’s done so many different things, like DJing, theatre, solo music (dance, pop, rock, showtunes), sports events and TV shows. So proud of her.

Love this song, amazing video, the best among the solo stuff IMHO, together with NBTSA.
