They all had. Melanie C was the most outspoken, she was also the one that showed support. There are a few interviews out there where she’s excited about Mel B and Emma solo efforts, and she said she got Schizophonic and loved Mi Chico Latino. Emma was a bit more diplomatic. Geri never diss nor praised any of the girls solo records and Forever. I actually think that silence was worse, she deliberately avoided any Spice related question at that time. But it’s past, who cares. What’s sad is to see how the UK media is misogynistic, racist, classist, and sick. Poor girls and their families.

This is going to be my favorite documentary about the girls. It’s sad what they had to go through. By the way, not Geri throwing shade at Emma saying that was a cover. Girl, at least Emma sang live 😂 They all had something to say about each other (minus Emma, she avoided any conflict) at that time. I guess the media really succeeded to put them against each other. I agree. 2007 was their making up reunion. The two Mels hadn’t seen each other in a long time and were not really in speaking terms. Emma as always was probably the only one not complaining (even though, for the first time, she opened up about Geri being bossy in the past). I mean, in some ways, thanks to that reunion we’ve got all the other things, 2019 and 2012 events included. As for the new music, I can see the Mels being ok with some cool uptempo stuff, same for Emma - she could bring her retro vibe. I don’t think Geri would feel comfortable though. She really gave up dancing. And I personally don’t want another Headlines 😂

They were lucky Headlines was released when streaming wasn’t a thing like now. A #11 is still impressive. Pity the song wasn’t that good. That would have been the perfect time to release NGUOTGT and take it back to pre-Geri leaving. Worst moments of the song or related: 1. The cheesy intro 2. Geri’s almost whispered vocals 3. Melanie C lyrics (Christ, every bell’s gonna ring WTF) 4. Victoria and Mel B outfits in the video for a Children’s in Need single 5. The song being a long whole redundant verse 6. Girls Aloud having released a bop like SKO the year before and the Spice Girls coming back with a snoozefest.

It’s something new for Mel. Ball dancing is something specific she needs to learn. But she did great. Again I’m not surprised to date Mel B, Mel C, and Emma are the ones who have challenged themselves with this. Mel B is the natural dancer, Emma is the girly one with great moves, and Mel C the one with technique. If it wasn’t for her injury, I’d see her doing lots of acrobatic.

I agree with what you say. It makes sense. But let’s not forget the Spice Girls are people and individuals. It doesn’t always have to be Spice persona vs real self. Of course, they’re known with their nicknames, even Posh. I really hope they don’t introduce her as Sporty Spice. She’s Melanie C, first of all.
