Love Kneecap. This. I love Kneecap and what they stand for. If she ends up at 2 or top5, this will still be amazing. She’s a Spice Girl, with decades of success, and she got nothing to prove. But I’d love to see her doing great - this might also push the other girls to give it a try again (group and/or solo).

Geri Interview Ouch. Geri Horner appeared on an episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown podcast. Mayim Bialik has identified herself as a "proud Zionist"; Bialik was criticized for endorsing a children's book that some critics claimed whitewashed the war in Gaza.

This X/Twitter account is quite big and has acknowledged Melanie in two posts about iTunes Charts. They even cover Spotify, hopefully someone streams it out of curiosity. Also: I remember checking previously, and streams were a bit lower during the weekend. I hope her team has something planned for this few days before the official chart announcement.

This is interesting, at least more visibility. #1 on iTunes worldwide.

Favorite song off the album. One of her best singles ever. And love the video, it’s rawness works. She moves and dances like a goddess. Gone are those snoozing TMYB kind of songs. May they never come back.

I say top10 almost certainly. Streaming won’t help unfortunately. By the way, are these better than the previous albums? Back to say: I love the album, it’s her best since Northern Star (but I love Melanie C the Album). We’re #1 in the UK (iTunes) + other 5 countries - and top10 in many others. Hopefully she gets another top10 album!

Nothing music related. 2019 was the last one. I also have low expectations for the documentary. They’re stingy when it comes to content and sharing details. They’re going for the same safe route and talk about the time they met the Queen and how girl power has become people power.

This. Nothing the girls do in terms of projects is embarrassing. What I find embarrassing is doing something for the sake of pleasing the fans, when your heart is not in it. Kudos to Melanie for declining to reunite with the girls many times, and power to her for accepting when the time was right (see the triumphant 2019 reunion tour).

She’s gonna climb. I don’t think this is going to be a flop. Also, I don’t think they have high expectations - she needs to build her book fan base from scratch, after all these years.

I support her book thing and even defending her when people say nasty things. But not this attitude of hers. She’s been doing copy-cat of what Vicky B has been doing for ages now. The posh accent, the image cleaning, the more conservative attitude, the fashion, the type of interviews, and this BS of “I’m going to support them, you can go on without me” mantra. Jesus Geraldine Christ. I won’t be surprise if soon she comes out as a Terf, like Roisin Murphy. Snotty and with no sense of awareness of who made her famous in the first place. Girl, you touched / kissed Prince Charles wearing a (super cool) sexy outfit.

Once she has introduced Jenny Frost to the whole world, it’s gonna start climbing. Also, I see Geri’s audience going to buy the book in stores, not online. I’m sure she’s gonna do fine.

it’s all a mess. And it’s time to move on. Give us the final tour / performance / documentary ant stop with this pantomime. At the end of the day, I’ll never understand Geri nor Victoria. They contributed zero performance-wise. The Mels and Emma always carried the whole band vocally and on stage. It’s not like they’ve been asked to show us an intricate dance routine or do a cover of Celine Dion.

Geri can go back to say “d’you know what I mean” and wear cool second-hand clothes. I’m here for that. The Spice equilibrium restored.

No. It’s impossible. That’s Melanie C from the 90s. Is she ageing in reverse? Wow. They both look good. I know they’ve been friends for a long time. Some might think Mel is out of her mind to have such a friend, not such an innocent girl, but what a classy lady is Sophie.
