I don’t get some fans (BuzzJack and former DenDen fans). It seems it’s all about them, 4 cats. They decide when a project sucks, flops, when 500k streams are great or a disappointment. The tour won’t happen. People are getting sick again with COVID and we won’t back to “normal” before 2022. Europe at least is not doing fine, you guys in the UK can do what you like. All the girls are families, children and responsibilities. Do you really think they’re gonna put their loved ones in danger because Sammy is screaming and wants another reunion with Geri standing there doing nothing and Emma & the Mels carrying the show? Please, people, let’s be realistic and start respecting the girls for what they stick to. If they want a family and be housewives, if they want to release an album that sells 1k copies, if they write books about baby poops or whatever they want to do.

5 albums of Melanie C, Mel B and Emma carrying the band. Poor girls. 😂 I think the Spice Girls are iconic because they stopped when they were successful. See how redundant became BSB, Westshit and all the others. The Girls were already icons with just one album. I’m sure they have lots of unreleased stuff. That’s what we want now! NOW! 😜

Not bad considering she didn’t have the support of the biggest Editorial Playlists (worldwide). And there was no tour or continuous promotion for the album. There are “major” artists with those numbers (or less) who released records last year. The Spice Girls, if they want to boost those numbers, they need to partner with big TikTok names. That makes a difference!

She understood the Spice Girls reunions a good in terms of raising a bit her profile. She’s got better Spotify numbers, a top10 album and magazines are more into her as she tells about the group and people like to read that. I think it’s the right thing to do.

This. The song has a good rhythm and I admit I almost cried when I heard Mel B singing after such a long time (I can’t help but loving her). The girls, if one day they’re ready to come back with a new single, they need a song at least as good as their album tracks. NGUOTGT, Last Time Lover, Love Thing and many more. Last but not least, they need to use the same vocal formula: Emma and Mel B lead, Geri and OBE Vicky B here and there in the chorus, and Mel C uplifting the song with some kick-ass ad-libs. And the lyrics, no Lady Of the Manner references; something empowering and unique like SUYL.

Song For Her is almost as bad as playing Soul Boy when you have anxiety. The lyrics are so “I give you the finger, you take me to dinner” kind of cringe. Never again, please.

On Twitter he’s still vile. I don’t understand why the girls were like that when it came to certain fans. Actually one of the Mels (C, between us) got really angry at that group of fans where they discovered the video for WIA and posted it on the forum. Same, Geri (poor soul) was disappointed when MOTM “leaked”). That’s why I don’t care about Woman. Some fans already have the first studio take and it’s not exciting anymore (the girls know that and for respect to the fandom, and their love for equality, they should have shared the song immediately - it’s all or no one for me).

Melanie has been working with some really cool (young) producers and Biff for her new album. I’m happy she’s not going back to MOR pop-rock. Even if she won me back with Beautiful Intentions (and then lost me again with This Time), I like her doing electro-pop. I hope she dares a bit more.

I see what you did there 😈 I’m on all solo Spice music today, I forgot how good was Maybe. And the video. This needed to be her debut. A certified number 1 worldwide. Pity it wasn’t released before. (don’t get me wrong, WTYSL still is in my top5 solo songs, but Maybe is on another level).

Still #1 on iTunes Worldwide Chart and in our hearts. Hope Olivia Rodríguez fans don’t find that out or they’ll start downloading her album again to get her to the top spot. It’s incredible how a band with only 2 big records (sorry Forever, I love you) are still so successful. I was reading the comments around the web and people remember who is who. No other girlband / boyband will ever have the same iconic status. Can’t wait to get the vinyl.

Yeah, I don’t buy that. There was probably an agreement. Also, Geri was clear back then and she did everything to distance herself (minus the music, Spice Girls 2.0) - there’s no single interview where she praises or disses any of the other solo efforts. She had more power than the girls themselves (or that’s what she believed), so it makes sense the two parts decided to have exclusive collaborators and cowriters. I mean, it’s more than 20 years ago, we all moved on.. and Geri now wears only white.

It’s not. We didn’t have any group picture or video from the girls. In that case, of course, the press is when it gets crazy and they all write about it. But it was also covered by Pitchfork, so it’s pretty ok for me. And Feed Your Love is amazing 😻

Yeah, that one 😂 I really don’t like Headlines. It has Geri written on it, probably the other girls just added some bits. Mel C lyrics are so Mel C when she’s been lazy, Victoria’s are elegant and poetic.. I wish we had more Mel B, I’ve been loving her voice more and more. Hoping we’re going to hear Spice is Back and Angels ASAP
