What’s that Wonderful Day song playing and why it sounds like Mel C and Emma?

I remember buying this record thinking she was going to be the next Robbie Williams. I had high expectations, she was my favorite. Then I listened to it and it was a bland version of Spice World. I cringed so much when I first heard Lift Me Up. Look At Me was clever, her voice though... I also remember feeling offended by Geri burying Ginger Spice (now I think it was actually quite clever!) Thank Godney, Melanie C aka Indie Spice arrived (first song I heard was Ga Ga on the radio, the DJ said this was going to be her first single. And my love for Geri died, like Ginger Spice in her video.

I woke up and realized I cannot unsee Geri picture. It’s one of the cringiest Spice-related things since Music of the Night (Perdido) and Melanie C at the Forever launch party.

We need to download the song on iTunes and stream it on Spotify. If we do that, plus buy the vinyl / cassette, I’m sure we can get a better position than Mel B’s Today.

5 of them or nothing 😂 and let’s not forget 4 out of 5 haven’t written anything in ages. Geri has good writing skills (bar “give you the finger / took me to dinner” and the whole Lift Me Up), Melanie C works well with melody (bar Cool as You, Cosmic Shower, Viva Life and Soul Boy), Mel B brings the cool American vibe, Emma can contribute with her love for vintage music, and Victoria.. empowers the song through fashion.

If it’s new music, I hope they listen more to what Mel C has to say. She knows what producers are cool at the moment, she’s friends with many cool artists (see Billie Eilish). I personally don’t want any Headlines, Voodoo or Song For Her. Also, more lines to Mel B this time and old-school Mel C adlibs (I know it’s not going to happen, just let me dream).

Same. As long as they’re happy, that’s what matters. But as a fan who bought her solo music, it saddens me a bit. Her new persona is just.. 😬 I won’t buy the t-shirt as I promised to only support LGBTQ+ businesses and ONGs directly, but it’s cool the girls came together to support Vicky B’s idea.

TAFKAG (The Artist Formerly Known as Ginger) has the worst caption and less LGBTQ+ affirming, to be honest. Such an “all lives matter” kind of message, I can’t with her: be yourself, whoever you are. She didn’t want to piss the Commonwealth talking about the people who made her famous and allowed her to wear white today? 😂 I’m more and more in love with Mel B. What a fierce woman she is. 😍

I hope it’s Too Much. That song she made it hers. I mean, that ‘I want a man / Not a boy who thinks he can’ is what makes the song and I love the energy she puts. I used to hate it and now I listen to it more than Viva Forever.

Even Mel C pokes fun at her in a video for always wearing white 😂 Oh, Geraldine.. This is when I deeply miss the Spice Girls we used to know.
