Pity there’s no special price. She’s top50 on both iTunes and Amazon. With a cheaper price and the exposure she’s got today I’d see her getting more sales. I hope there’s something else going on. The album is great. I’m still listening to it. I can’t say the same it happened when we got This Time, The Sea and Version of Me.

By the way, I’m glad many women on Twitter even non-fans came in support with Mel. This thing happened before with Mel B. If I wrote something offensive, I’m up for editing my comment. I think I’ve managed to say what I think without offending. Am I wrong?

They’re all bland by themselves. That’s why none of them will ever be as big as the Spice Girls. But they’re all good women and I love them all to bits. That said, saying Geri was a copycat and Emma experimental is totally deluded. Emma has such a bland voice, Geri can’t sing but she’s got personality. The Free Me era was mostly a manufactured thing that sounded amazing because her manager / ex-lover wanted her to be the next vintage girl. And wasn’t even that serious. Some songs have great arrangements but there’s no big voice to sustain that. If you listen to Goin’ Down and Ga Ga at least Melanie C voice is credible and not just a gimmick. So, again, Geri might be the worst singer ever in terms of technical approach, but at least she conveys some feelings with her texture.
