Worst album alongside LA State of Mind, Melanie’s Reason to VOM eras, Emma’s AGLM, and VB discography. It doesn’t even sound like it’s a Geri’s album. It’s lazy, and not in a AGLM kinda way, more like she recorded those songs in her pijamas after a long nap. You can say whatever you want about Geraldine, but she had ideas, and this record lacks that. The cover is meh, the singles choice is nope, the “live” performances, and documentary scream DISASTER. Thanks God there wasn’t a follow up to this record.

Thanks, Jay That was a tough one! Love to see all 5 have some highlights. I dare you to find other girl groups / boy bands (if we exclude One Direction) that has this level of success after all these years for all the members. Of course, nothing big compared to new acts and US American artists, but way better than many UK acts.

It’ll always be like that: Melanie C Mel B / Emma Victoria Geri. Forever-era was annoying AF. But I did love it in terms of vocals. And Victoria delivered.

“fatherly”, “Emma”, “close to him” I need that documentary where they finally reveal she was actually smarter than Geri, but she didn’t need to be as “talkative” as Geri to get what she wanted. I need a spin-off too: Emma - Baby Anymore.

I find Emma’s numbers disappointing, if we want to over-analyze things. That was a COMEBACK of an artist who hadn’t had any albums in a long time, whilst Melanie C had always been around. And as for the content, Emma’s album is a collection of songs she likes plus some new stuff that doesn’t sound new at all, on the other hand Melanie C was a way to reintroduce herself as we’d never seen her before - and thought it wasn’t anything alternative or shocking, was still a departure from her previous MOR sound (professional reviews prove that). Also, if we want to stick to facts and report things correctly like formats of music available and stuff, Melanie C charted at 8, Emma’s in the top20. Both big achievements if we think these ladies have been around for 30 years. They got nothing to prove.

She should re-release it with b-sides and remixes. I don’t see her releasing new music. She didn’t do anything to keep her fanbase active. She will always be Lazy Spice, for me. What a waste of potential.
