Some valid points made but I think the other artist mentioned we’re not so big elsewhere like Madonna was I don’t have all stats but fans will defend there artist but should be done on a different platform this being chart based site!

Knew Kylie would crop up in this conversation BUT again she has a team/management who knows system so that’s multiple versions, limited releases, social media posts, remixes and maybe a few performance on tv for some extra exposure and radio will play it if done correctly! Madonna’s team do none of this nowadays using name now will not sell a single and let’s not also forget it’s “The Weekends” label not Madonna’s who are not really doing much The single has done amazing so far mainly, yes due to The Weekends name Had a proper video been recorded and released in all physical formats it might of gone top 10 when released last summer but it didn’t get that support from the label unlike other artists who get multiple versions released etc etc to get easily into top 10!

Reality for any artist is you need a good management team behind you, that will promote with videos, remixes, radio deals, physical formats and multiple versions available! Madonna’s management team don’t get that nowadays it seems, so without the mentioned it won’t happen sadly

Seriously Madonna is not interested in charts she's don't need the money, she loves music & has released an album of music thats influenced her over the past few years since Rebel Heart. It's brought out her creativity & experimental side again Something she's not done fur a while Kylie stays safe she tried indie it flopped, she's always been pure pop I like Kylie have many albums & singles but to say Madonna is not fun is joke. Hung Up is camp/fun like Going Bananas is or Bitch I'm Madonna in a way to name a few The new album is her strongest in a while and critics praised it alot, she collaborated with people she likes or listens to at home perhaps! Swae Lee is hardly well known I never heard of him till Madonna came along likewise with Anitta for me I don't listen to that style of music but she chose as likes there style or sound If she wanted a hot she'd perform it She's not a plugger like Kylie and Golden only worked as she was non stop promoting it here in UK. Now another greatest hits is coming out next week.... Yawn!!!

You agree Madame X is an awful album?? A.L was ok in my mind i not listened to it since but like all her albums there is usually some good and some not so good ( album fillers as they call them) To say Madame x is awful is untrue its arty, creative its whats inspired her not the charts She dont need hits singles but GOD CONTROL is awesome it was so unexpected upon fist listen to turn out to be a disco stomper and the subject matter only Madonna could do that!

Madonna was on pre orders weeks before Bruce was, fathers day is Sunday so most will have bought it now. So charts are released on Fri so plenty of days to boost Madame Xrs sales if she needs them

I wouldn't under estimate Madonna, she has multiple physical edtions out there! Itunes is not true indicator of who will be number one anymore. So I think she'll have it in the bag, we had some promo happen this week two interviews & a TV show that was recorded live. Rave reviews past few days as well Madonna no1 please ☺

I'm biased and will stick with Madame X she has a fan base thats curious to her new sound and with 5 songs being released as tasters ( 2 already heard a 3rd tomorrow) I think the crown will be madonnas Plus there's pre orders various versions available & the tour which will be surely announced for UK by time album is released as dares already confirmed for USA MADONNA No 1 please
