“Thetrack’s to-date consumption of 2,758,915 units makes it the 224th biggest song of the 21st century” Have we had a sexy biggest song of the 21st century list from occ recently?

Saint Etienne - Only Love Can Break Your Heart ❤️ Saw them a few weeks back on their farewell tour, super pleased they got a cert 🙌🏻

Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus (Platinum) Can’t believe this is only single Platinum. Feel like it’s one of those older songs that still gets played a fair amount.

Or apt! Ladyhawke - My Delirium Is my highlight of the week 😍

Agree. Tapestry is a timeless classic. I alternate between it & Dusty in Memphis on my old school cd alarm clock and never tire of either. Didn’t notice Pulp’s Babies had hit silver last week. Guess it didn’t sell much on original release and not sure how much of ‘The sisters e.p.’ if any, contributed towards classification with it being released in 1994 the year the charts started counting properly. Snaps to Wanbabe & Gimme More too

I check the kworb global Spotify streams and see IYE higher consistently but assumed that’s because it was a massive radio hit in Europe at the time, more so than LAFS.

I’d be very interested in an indie folk kylie album. I’m thinking Ocean Blue, Paper Dolls & This Girl. A nice melodic chill acoustic vibe. I’d also be down for an electro left-field album. In the vein of Limbo, CIMW Fischerspooner mix, LAFS Scumfrog mix, Slow Mylo mix. Or indeed anything else she wants to put out 🤣

Alison Limerick - Where Love Licks Typo? Weird Lenny K’s It Ain't Over Til It's Over going gold this week, a week after Mutya’s Real Girl which samples it went silver!

I’m Old so don’t tok!

Lord Huron - The Night We Met (4x) Never heard of this before and wiki says it got to number 77. Certs are baffling sometimes! Made up for Mutya’s Real Girl, it’s my best mate’s favourite ever song!

Hope she’s recorded Baby Doll to be released for the docu. It became a talking point of interviews for years so seems apt. Maybe a ‘duet’ version with her & Prince sharing vocals

Charli’s Sucker remains my favourite album by her. Criminal it’s taken 12 years to get silver, although saying that I don’t think I actually bought it 😆

Oh poo, missed the voting 🤦‍♂️

Beck Loser Plat 🙌 Remember it being out around the same time as Suede’s stay together & blur’s girls & boys but thinking he’s be another American indie one hit wonder, happy I was wrong.
