Charli’s Sucker remains my favourite album by her. Criminal it’s taken 12 years to get silver, although saying that I don’t think I actually bought it 😆
  2. Oh poo, missed the voting 🤦‍♂️

Beck Loser Plat 🙌 Remember it being out around the same time as Suede’s stay together & blur’s girls & boys but thinking he’s be another American indie one hit wonder, happy I was wrong.
  4. LCA was doing about 7k now 14k Spotify worldwide

The charts are dry clean only Melanie!
  6. I was a MASSIVE Pulp fan 1993 onwards, seen them live so many times. Met up with my Pulp pen pal at the V96 festival to watch them together. We were dancing and chatting then they said they were playing a new song and ‘Help the aged’ started. We both pissed ourselves laughing thinking it was an improvised joke song and then the longer it went on it became less funny when we realised it was genuine. I still thought ‘oh it might just be an album track or b-side’ but no! glad there were much better songs on This is hardcore.
  7. Ah ok, no worries. Just people were lamenting songs not getting through and I thought I’d missed something.
  8. Love the OG of M People’s first hit so to me it’s a No29 single. Gutted for Dusty, I only became aware of it when it became the theme tune to one of my favourite ever comedy programs, Smack the pony. What’s the benchmark for making it to the next round? Apols if it’s already been said.
  9. Noooo, not RuPaul’s favourite ever song (Rick Astley) only getting 16 points 🤯
  10. Just had a thought that the Netflix doc would be the perfect place to debut her version of Baby Doll, lash it on streaming after the doc drops. 🤩

Spare a thought for Lisa Stansfield, she’s still looking for her baby despite having been around the world several times now in the last 36 years.
  12. After voting I was freaked out when I watched Tron Ares the next evening and Depeche Mode was mentioned with chart position! Bit gutted not many have voted for Song 4 Mutya, hope it gets through, I love it so much.
  13. Olivia, Raye & EsDeeKid smashing it for the UK. Made up for the scouse lad breaking the top 40 over the pond.
  14. She’s mentioned going through photos & listening to mixes of her songs so I feel she’s been quite thorough looking back on her career. I’m hoping that as it’s an official doc we’ll get steve Anderson & Biff and other collaborators giving their tuppence worth which may have a little more detail. Jake, Calvin Harris, Sia (with huge wig covering her head) & Nick Cave
  15. I was so temped to stick I’d rather Jack on the end but Bowie won out. I tried to go for songs that I actually play semi-regularly
