James Arthur out. Poor Amelia Lily, wonder if her album will still get released?

266 sales 73,402 Vs 73,136 0.4% margin

I don't think people are celebrating her death just remembering how much they hated her political decisions & want to voice an opinion when we're being bombarded by rose-tinted news reports. Everyone has their opinion, everyone has a right to hate her or what she did to many many communities. most people are so apathetic these days, it's good that the political fire is being stoked in some way.

It's up 9 to 24 in the US Hot 100

Big surge for Kylie's Fever for absolutely no reason. Bonkers list.

I was trying to buy a non-Sean Paul version that wasn't a mix earlier. I couldn't get one, ended up going for the 2nd Adventure Radio edit.

Bastille 58k Sterephonics 26k Dido 19k I'm an accountant, I'm prudent.

Are you a big fan of 19 management?

Pre-writing down the charts off teletext (1988) I always thought "Walking on Sunshine" got to number one as I'd hear it lots & Venus by Bananarama. They were solid #8 chart smashes! So hard to think of others without Chart Stats there to save my blushes. Holiday by Madonna perhaps

That could lead to a situation where the single has negative sales one week then bounces back into the chart. Can't imagine they'd do that.

& Adele did zero promo after the 1st 2 singles really. 21 never got a deluxe re-issue too.

I guess it'll be even spookier music than their normal stuff then. Still love "The Book Lovers" ep from 1996 :) RIP

Surprise to see Broadcast releasing a new album this week, thought they'd split up after their lead singer died.

Can't believe DJ Fresh Gold Dust HAS BEEN IN THE CHARTS for 73 weeks! Is it true??

Far be it from me to incite chart manipulation but we could pick a song that's only sold <10 copies for the 1st 51 weeks of the year, download it, then twitter OCC back asking how many copies it sold again ;-)

Glad they're avoiding the xmas bunfight, hopefully people will still have some £££ oleft from thier iTunes Vouchers. I want mixes & an Album (single) only b-side!

are there mixes & a physical? They should release with an "album only" b-side to encourage those with TEN to get it.

Oh like Girls ALoud's "Chrismassy"?

@gooddelta - Did you buy all 3 best ofs? @Bré - I bought the Lenka song, a few tenuious rhymes but you can't deny that chorus :-) ANd glad "Beautiful Cause You Love Me" entered. Wonder if there'll be mixes & OR b-sides!!!

Bloody hope Kylie doesn't sing with Christopher. Do they still do duets at the final?

In the eloqent words of Louie Walsh "I liked it"

I pre-ordered it from their website to get pre-sale concert tickets. Was expecting more, it will plummet during the week  It has one of the best GA songs ever (in my top 3) new song "On The Metro" brilliant choon.

I went for "Groove is in the heart" due to the whole Joint number 1 thing. I like the song too. I guess Strawberry Fields/Wonderwall/Common People are more likely to win but I wanted to bump a pop/dance song up there.

Coldplay sounded rubbish live at the Olympics. Am sad about the GA single. I've done my best to hype it on my facebook. Damn that Murs! Maybe they should have tried for a Strictly/X Factor double performance.

Too many to choose. I will be doing Popjustice with my vote though!
