What Wham! Odds did you get? I’ve only seen them odds on which wouldn’t cover your Kylie bet. Are you being offered a cash out amount on Xmas since it’s odds have reduced drastically?

Loving the engagement with different versions but after the instrumental & acapella, what next? XMAS (just the drums), XMAS (just the bells) 😂 I'd still buy them!

I bought Listen without prejudice in 1990 and loved it at the time but it wasn’t until Self Esteem’s version of Praying for time that I realised just how far ahead of its time the song was lyrically. Largely the ecological & rich people parts. Just genius. Back to Kylie - my Alexa won’t play the extended mix, it does play the regular version, I’m a prime member rather Amazon music subscriber. Is the extended only available if you pay more? Or am I saying the wrong prompt?!?

Downloaded off the kylie store which was easy and the original & extended off Amazon which wasn’t ruddy easy!!! Got an error message and had to wait to download it after trying to find it again. All that while being bumbarded with messages to sign up to Amazon music. The extended mix is great, love the synthy tease intro. Alexa won’t play me the extended mix, is there a trick in phrasing the voice command? I said ‘Alexa play kylie Minogue Xmas extended mix’

I got my physical copies on Saturday

7,016 downloads + physical Assuming those figures fell off a cliff the following week it’s streaming numbers actually held up pretty well. 9,124 -> 8,420

Tension the single had 2,326 downloads on debut week. So less than 10k streaming units that week.

She should say all proceeds from Xmas go to a food bank charity. I mean if Ladbaby can get 300 consecutive Xmas number ones with rubbish cover songs, then an original decent pop track should have a better chance.

Is it the most wonderful time of the year?

Digital download only for one week Kylie - Christmas fully wrapped + Heavenly body

I’m a huge Kylie fan but haven’t pre-ordered the ‘new’ Christmas album. Ordered all 3 formats of the single though. I bought the original one on CD but didn’t bother with the Snow Queen edition. Considering it’s never even been top 10 in either of the previous editions, personally I don’t think it has a chance of No.1 but would be very happy to be proved wrong.

Just searched bpi to see what other Smiths tracks have certs & it only shows PPP as gold?

I had no idea it was originally released in 1993 and was a sleeper hit. Thought the tiny pre-94 sales figures were a mistake before researching. Impressed with the detail :)

Like the Jamiroquai certs. Let’s spend the night together, wake up in world of leather

All the lovers regularly gets played after I choose to play anything pop on Apple Music along with Material Girl & New Rules.

Yey for spinning around! Also I was dancing like a loon to Galvanize at my 50th party last week. On my own on the dancefloor eek

Finally! Yes, I’m onboard for streaming Tension more. It seems to come up more often than Padam on autoplay after I play a pop album on Apple Music so fingers crossed it gets there soon.

It’s called ‘In YOUR Eyes’ Assuming you’re referring to Fever’s 2nd single.

Meh :( I’m streaming at least once a day

I’ve been praying extra hard to Carol & Ron for Padam to go platinum today. C’mon you little ripper!

Ditto!

Or have as physical only b-sides to singles to make them more attractive to purchase. I can see why they would put potential b-sides on streaming as they wouldn’t count towards the main single like remixes do.

Wonder if Bananarama are the girl group to have the most top 10 hits without a platinum cert? Don’t even think they’ve had a gold!

Happy for Kylie’s certs. Joy for Tension selling 100,000 when there’s two 20+ platinum albums though! Tadpole verses whales.

So 7x Platinum is 2.1m but official reports have stated it’s been over that for a while so why the certification now? Did PWL/BMG request it? Dec 23 Released in neon pink and clear aquamarine vinyl editions to mark its 35th birthday, Kylie Minogue’s 1988 debut album Kylie re-enters the Top 75 (No.30, 3,675 sales) for the very first time since it completed its initial 67-week chart run – including six weeks at No.1 – in 1989.
