Thinking of poor Jazzi P who didn’t get a credit for her excellent work on Kylie’s Shocked.

Your tireless work is appreciated x
  4. I don't get the hate for Radio, it's my favourite single by him, love the vitriol! You know me is a close 2nd, beatuiful song that flows so well. I think i just got bored of his big hits due to their ubiquity. Other random tracks I love are; I Will Talk and Hollywood Will Listen, A Man for all seasons & Teenage Millionaire His cover of Kooks led me to buy my 1st Bowie albim - Hunky Dory :) Always found it weird that Sexed up was initially a b-side then a single years later

Santa Baby! :yahoo: Looked at the BPI website & saw it went silver on 22.12.2017, gold on 20.11.2020 & now Platinium, seems like it could be a million 'seller' in a few years! The power of Christmas eh. Not sure why it's listing the label as 'Rhino' though
  6. Is that half the top 10 made up of british artists albeit 2xAdele & 2xEd, pity Cold heart couldn't have made it 60%
  7. Kylie & Jason - Especially for you Kylie - Hand on your heart Kylie - Tears on my pillow Jason - Too many broken hearts Jason - Sealed with a kiss Has any of the Band Aid versions ever been on a regular NOW album?

Just listening to the album for the 1st time. Doesn't break any new ground for me personally. Reminds me of a mix of Orbital, Leftfield & Future sound of london. Nice enough as I like all those artists, retro beats!

    Lily Allen - f*** You - Gold - 2009 Metronomy - The Look - Silver - 2011 Made up for these songs!
  10. I love the UK & want it to succeed but find it difficult buying into the nationalistic propaganda that's shoved down our throats from Tories, Brexiters & Royalty. Especially when 'their' version of UK pride has shot all of us in the foot leaving the EU. ATM we're all living in Boris' Churchillian fantasy & like Churchill he's declared war on sections of his own country (see 1911 general strike in Liverpool, 1926 general strike & 1919 in Glasgow) Boris hasn't sent the troops in like Churchill did but there are parallels of trying to crush dissent heavy handedly. Will be VERY interesting to see how he solves the Irish issue this time. Have you noticed they've stopped the "We're all in this together" rhetoric? If you're from a poor urban area or non-white then your chances of dying in 2020 were so much more! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-14529243
  11. Promise? ;) Merry christmas
  12. EVERYONE has a right to complain about BJ. You can't say otherwise.
  13. You were saying all of this is pointless! where's the facepalm emoji...
  14. Erm you are getting involved by posting!
  15. You're free not to listen to it & not get involved. #justsaying
  16. Completely legit song. He's incompetent, how many U turns this year alone?? Free school meals, A-Level results, Christmas rules, migrant NHS staff surcharge etc Over promised on Track & Trace spend billions with their mates on it & it was a pile of poo. How many dodgy contracts awarded to their mates for hundreds of millions of £. Facing no deal Brexit after 10 years of austerity (which was a political choice) & the pandemic has compounded everything. I mentioned the North in the chart predictions thread cos people in Greater Manchester were only worth 60% furlough then when the south needed to lockdown it's more, BLATANT! Now the Liverpool mayor got arrested & calls from Tory MPs for Andy Burnham to resign coz they didn't like that he stood for THE PEOPLE. It's our tax payments that go into government coffers, income tax, national insurance, VAT etc & it'll be US more than the millionaire Tories with their offshore tax haven trusts who will be paying the national debt off for decades so we shouldn't feel grateful & humble like Oliver Twist with an outstretched bowl when they actually give us some of our tax back to see us through this very difficult time.

Any updates? Thought Innerspeaker by Tame Impala would have sold more after 10 years. Bought it at the time on cd & play it regularly on Apple Music
  18. Ahhh that was nice of them. Least Urban Hymns sold bucketloads at the time.
  19. He always says he doesn't know what his lyrics mean!
  20. The Verve lose money everytime it's played! Negative publishing lol
  21. Great Things was probably my least favourite Echobelly song to that point, Bellyache EP was my 1st ever CD single and all 4 tracks were bangers. Presume this isn't at number 4? think it was released a week before or after the oasis/blur battle.
  22. The original version pre-mix got to No60 was was more guitar based. Yeah! for multi-cultural britain :)
  23. Would have thought Chasing rainbows would have made it, i remember it hung around a bit over xmas time
  24. Prefer Blur, their song was actually about something. Noel often said he didn't have a clue what his own songs were about which is why i think they were overrated, Blur's dig back "Oasis Quo" fits 'Roll with it' perfectly. Ultimately it was a huge novelty to have two british guitar bands battle it out for number one & if it made record companies sign more bands for a slice of the action then it was good for music :)
  25. TSOB 1 woz has main chorus that goes "why should we suffer with no comfort... I can do better, I, I can better I" TSOB could be "The son of (a) bitch" Didn't realise Victory was Sia, makes complete sense, it's the best of what i've heard along with Love in stereo & Boys.
