I was a bit drunk but I think I was crying at the beauty of it. I believe that this is the "Bill & Ted" album that in the future everyone will live their lives by. Obviously in the future we will all be robots or cyborgs so it makes sense. ;) "Doin' it right" is my favourite track so far.

Having heard the album a few times I'm totally in love with it. It's EVERYTHING! Well it pays homage to everything while being it's own thing. It made me cry last night it was that good! So well produced & every minute reveals a surprise. And having seen the reviews (average 89/100 on metacritic) I can't see it selling less than 200k. Even most people leaving comments on the streaming-rip on pirate bay were saying they've pre-ordered it or are gonna buy it the day it's out. Hoping for arctic monkey's debut sales!

It's #1 on iTunes through pre-orders, probably cos you can stream the whole album. I tried to stream it but it's not working for me. When has an album gone to #1 n iTunes on pre-order before? (actual question)

I think a lot of ppl are talking about get lucky & most people don't buy singles, add to it the interviews and teasers and general press, so I think they album is gonna fly.

I think it'll clear 200k. Unchartered waters. Mind you, I thought Skyfall could sell 400k in 2 days.

I don't think people are celebrating her death just remembering how much they hated her political decisions & want to voice an opinion when we're being bombarded by rose-tinted news reports. Everyone has their opinion, everyone has a right to hate her or what she did to many many communities. most people are so apathetic these days, it's good that the political fire is being stoked in some way.

Pre-writing down the charts off teletext (1988) I always thought "Walking on Sunshine" got to number one as I'd hear it lots & Venus by Bananarama. They were solid #8 chart smashes! So hard to think of others without Chart Stats there to save my blushes. Holiday by Madonna perhaps

That could lead to a situation where the single has negative sales one week then bounces back into the chart. Can't imagine they'd do that.

Surprise to see Broadcast releasing a new album this week, thought they'd split up after their lead singer died.

Far be it from me to incite chart manipulation but we could pick a song that's only sold <10 copies for the 1st 51 weeks of the year, download it, then twitter OCC back asking how many copies it sold again ;-)
