happy that Alicia Keys mananged to hold up, whoops for Jay Sean's album though! it was a bad idea to release in the Christmas market weeks after one single.

    i think you're right Mikey, Alicia can't be #24!

i would never have put Rihanna at #1, very surprised. Hoping to see Alicia top ten.

nevermind Rhianna, i knew she had an album out but i didn't know Enya did and i watch a lot of daytime tv! she didn't have a hope in hell really, not that i'd have bought it either. also i agree that Rihanna's new stuff is alienating her pop fans, the people who are giving it time to listen to it are liking it but the generic little pop bitch who dances around to Dont Stop The Music is not interested in Russian Roulette.

Emma Bunton also did Downtown for Childen In Need in 2006
  8. i saw the Snow Patrol ad on ITV2 too, was pretty shocked. it'l work though, the idiots that buy clothes there will obviously buy anything.
  9. the video is great, loving the Death Proof influence. only heard the song twice now after seeing her live last week and it might be a grower but it is a bit of a let down for a collaboration with two massive stars.

at least Britney is still top ten, would have thought it'd have fallen out like Suagababes. i'd be interested to know what the re-release of Spirit sold in it's first week, i bet it's not far behind what Echo's doing.

i love this song too, i would say top 15 definitely but im hoping for top 10. TSWABH is amazing too, looking forward to the video which is meant to have a superhero theme, DMA's video is a bit bland.

Geri Halliwell also did it with Mi Chico Latino, Lift Me Up and Bag It Up. would've been 4 if the dumb $l*t had released Look At Me on 2 formats.

im glad BEP's have overtaken Leona, it's good to know that her sales are for decent songs and not just cause it's her. Happy is ok, but it's not a killer first single, so #2 is an adeqaute position. Sure she will get a #1 off this album when she releases the right track. I do say this without listening to it mind!

very "happy" BEP's are catching up on Leona, hope they make #1 by Sunday.
  15. yeh i have read The Sats Ego has been delayed but no sources quoted. can't quite believe Adam Lambert has been given a release over here. Kelis has a new album due early next year too.

dreadful news, Everybody In Love is a really poor follow up to Beat Again, i hate it. hopefully all the teenagers have rushed out and bought it straight away and their sales will die down suring the week. bad news about Calvin Harris, Flashback deserves much higher than #18.

i've only just realised what that Soldiers is after seeing the advert on tv! taking advantage of all those horny housewives!

really surprised to Cheryl at #1, i would have thought it would have been Buble after his X Factor performance. it's gonna be interesting to see where The Saturdays album is too after it's freefall last week.
