This has been a much better campaign than LM5 but it doesn't have a smash hit like Woman Like Me so it's hard to guess. Sweet Melody could make the difference but I'm guessing it's gonna be another BUS-sized hit atm. At the least I'm hoping for 40k+ but the dream would be on par or greater than LM5.

Just looking at chart rules and realised that the top two streamed songs of an album don't count towards album units. If I'm reading it right? Good thing Confetti will have 3 singles and a few promo singles to get those streaming numbers. Guess this is why LM5 struggled a bit even with WLM being a smash. It only had 2 singles which would have been neutralised. The UK charts have some damn weird rules 🥴.

I'm hoping SM is big enough off the bat to not get knocked out of the top 50 easily (10-30 on Spotify). Seems the label have been preparing for this release for a while so playlist support should be strong. Instant top 15 on Hot Hits I beg, then the cover and higher position on album release week

Glory Days was pretty great other than 2-3 duds. Especially the Platinum Edition. If it's on par with that I wouldn't be upset at all. Hopefully better than Get Weird though, i'll admit that isn't a particularly good album I'm confident Holiday will be my least fave and even that is pretty good so im not too worried.

They really need to calm down with all these expensive bundles. The fans will be buying the album anyway. Do some cheaper bundles for casual fans. I guess maybe they'll release those ones midweek through the chart battle though.

Other than the #1 album, my other hope for the era is a consistent streaming hit single. Something that actually sticks in the top 20 for a few weeks. Hope that'll be Sweet Melody.

#14 on AM. Higher than Future Nostalgia which is a streaming smash. Impressive with only 4 songs and not a current hit single. Guess this bodes really well for it's streaming numbers.

I'm optimistically seeing LM and Kylie both clear 40k. I can't see Ari doing that in her second week.

Hmm I think this is gonna be a bit much, especially if single 3 is coming next week like we expect as well. But then again I'll eat it up and love it anyway so I can't really complain. It's actually a decent plan to release as many promo singles as you can for NMF playlist exposure. Then by the time the album is out there would be 3 singles, 2 promo singles and an album track (on release day) which have all had a decent streaming push.

Just checked their bundles and realised they aren't selling cassettes by themselves? Just the £32 bundles. They should really sell some by themselves for £8 or something. I think 5SOS sold like 10k cassettes alone on opening week.

I think the lyrics are pretty good for them? Compared to Holiday and BUS which are very throwaway lyrically. This actually has lyrics about their experiences in the industry and a few fun tongue in cheek remarks. Anyone know how Joan Of Arc did on Spotify to compare?
