Just saw a twitter thread with 200k likes and thousands of comments calling out Sabrina's autoplay power. Apparently both Espresso and Please Please Please are playing in between rap playlists, 'Frank Sinatra radio' and even podcasts lol. I fear Spotify need to calm the autoplay feature down. No doubt they would have been successful anyway without it being so intense.

Lol she's spent a decade in the business already and is still getting hits. The numbers aren't incredible but the album is sitting at 700m streams or something on Spotify alone just from singles. She'll be perfectly fine. Her team can take notes from what's went right and wrong this era and work on it. Sounds like you just dislike her

Sad for Dua. How does this compare to FN, I think she at least had 3 in the top 10 right? It's a shame as I think this album is probably nearly as strong as FN but it doesn't have the same bangers so isn't resonating as much. Maybe overexposure has a role to play as well, she was just #1 with a smash hit last year and FN era didn't finish til 2022. Plus she's always getting major publicity no matter what. Hope she can bounce back to getting full on smash hits, maybe a deluxe edition of the album that's a bit bouncier and psychedelic?

Obviously Dua is still doing amazing. 3 hit songs in a row on an album, Houdini especially is looking to be a smash with longevity. But I do kinda miss her Future Nostalgia numbers, felt like those singles stuck around the top 10 a lot longer. Hopefully the album release helps I guess. Happy for Chappell Roan taking off too.

Gobsmacked that Jack Harlow is able to out-debut Dua. Didn't realise he was popular here at all. Hope she takes over as the week progresses.

Leigh-Anne top 40 on AM but out of the top 200 on Spotify 😭. I DESPISE how much harder it is for smaller and more local artists to break through on Spotify. Tempted to change my subscription to AM just based on that tbh

No remains a good song despite flopping. It's a solid 8.5 compared to SM being a 10. Cut You Off might have been a better choice for single tho especially with the Jesy controversy.

No, Cut You Off and Trash are all top tier LM songs. Between Us is a strong ballad, especially strong as it feels like a "goodbye (for now)" to them 😥 and the lyrics hit very hard. Pretty happy with the project as a whole, even LSL is cute and deserved better but it is the weakest of the new songs.

Sad and a bit insane this was removed from HH so quickly. This sales boost would have been nice to keep it in the charts for a few more weeks. It isn't even going silver at this rate 🥵

I think since this is performing badly they're just gonna move it down and phase it out of Hot Hits after a month or so. Looking like a true bomb. They've already had 3/4 hits this year tho so hopefully this won't hurt them.
