Seems this is probably the closest it'll ever be to #1? I wish the label would launch a bit of a campaign, discount, social media promo etc. It would generate a few thousand sales from casual fans and would maybe be enough. Shame they probably won't.

Christmas songs seem so high for November. Is this normal? Least this is still steady at 226k though. I must be weird coz I've barely listened to any this year and don't think I have any intention to. Maybe a few streams of One More Sleep and a stream or two for OIBM so my girls can eat 🤓

Do we know if this has a music video ready? If not I guess they could just do one of those generic videos that doesn't have them in it like Only You rather than doing it without Jesy.

Didn't Strictly have the vamps on? 💀. I wouldn't worry about SM not being suited to the audience. The audience is also so broad that it's bound to be suited to some of them anyway, it isn't just old people and yummy mummies that watch it. SM even translates live much better than WLM does.

This will probs be a generic club bop but they've never really done that before so I'm looking forward to it. Lighter was pretty good. Also seems like they're co-leads (Nathan Dawe & Little Mix) so should boost their Spotify profile a bit. Hope they do a Mabel and add it to Confetti too.

Not sure if anyone mentioned but Spotify now has a weekly album chart. Confetti is #2 in the UK and #18 WW. This should help streams a little. You even see the album chart before the songs chart now.

This could have went #1 if Positions wasn't holding so well. It's crazy that's gonna be a 4 week+ #1. I didn't even think people particularly liked it and assumed it would collapse after a few weeks 😭

I think they should release some extra editions, maybe alternative cover art, vinyl etc. and they could probs do it?

They're also number 1 on the Amazon Music streaming service, not Amazon Prime (the one associated with Alexa that I think got Ellie the #1?) Mariah is number 2 which seems realistic for Alexa plays. This is doing kinda amazing on there considering I don't think it even charted the first week or so. I think that Alexa promo they did might be paying off. Also did a quick scroll for album tracks... less successful. Gloves up is at #711. Holiday and BUS top 300.

Smells like shit. I really hope it isn't true. Maybe if Sweet Melody and Confetti were flopping hard I would be more inclined to believe it but even then it would be a stretch.
