  1. Good marketing here, price was sharply reduced this week resulting to a no16 leap for Progress on the album chart. Sales of Progress will be killed anyway when Progressed will come out after two weeks. :cheer: Looks like the 5 have built nice momentun now. Progressed (together with the big tour) should help the album sell about 300-500k more copies and perhaps 100k more around xmas when the live album should be released. My 3 million total predicion looks more realistic (yet tough to reach) now that 2,5 millions before the end of 2011 sounds possible. I've notice that all songs from progress that were used in the tour have shot up on itunes, so it is the tour that is making the difference now. (for example Love Love #35 + The Flood , Rule the World , Kidz , Happy Now all top 200)

I love Rihanna's ballads too. And CKB is nice! I am glad it is doing well!
  3. Both spoilers but best quality so far: + super AMAZING Flood & SOS KIDZ :cheer:

The massive tour just kicked off ;) The buzz should push it higher (alltogether with some classics of the 5)... Haven't read or listened to a single negative comment on the tour Don't stop the Party :puke2: one of the worst BEP singles ever
  5. :o Sounds epic! I want to get my hands on the DVD now  Looks like I may have to make space for a live show sometime this summer. (my supervising professor won't be happy with it  ) Definitely doen't sound any forgettable... Progressed will fly to the top of the charts with all this talk on the show storming the media the following days.
  6. Singles are dominated from US acts, still Albums (which are 12 times more important) show a different picture.
  7. The video for Love Love is out, just watched it on Robbie's website. http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/w...love-love-video What do you think? I think Gary is terrible! :o Tries to be a bit of Robbie? He is not even good at lipsync, why didn't they shoot it again? :o

I like I'm into you! :) The video is interesting as well, Jlo's comeback must be the best comeback we seen for quite long. (to be fair I didn't ever like her that much and there is not much talent inside her but appearently she has attracted a lot around her :teresa: )

I think I've made my point clear. There are a lot of big albums in the UK but Adelle is just overwhelming because she is 7plat+. 21 is successful worldwide but it I doubt you will find any markets (big or small) where it has been so heavilly certified. I don't think you actually doubt that Gaga will outsell her almost everywhere outside the UK, do you?

Album of the year 2011? Grammys or Brits?

Interesting... She is quite big I guess, but not Gaga big in any way... BTW should top almost every chart in the world this week with decent sales(Gaga should sell 1million+ WW on her first week). If she can give Gaga a run for the best selling WW album this year that will be an achievement. Having listened to Gaga's album I think she has two very strong singles left on BTW so she should bother the charts for a while (whereas Adelle is clearly starting to drop). Both could end up at over 6millions! The critical point is how huge is BTW going to be in the US. Because, let's face it, if she sells 4 million albums in the US only nobody will be able to challenge that.

Is she REALLY selling over 300.000/week? but she is currently looking for 50k UK sales this week...

That! Also Adelle's 21 is hugely successful only in the UK. No1 album is nothing out of the ordinary to have... she only has 7XPlat in the UK, everywhere else her sales are not overwhelming. Gaga has a strong fanbase all around the world. Even if she only sells a million+ in the UK she will easilly sell 3,5+ mil in the US an thus have a 5+ million WW totall.
  14. So Gary is official? :o He knows a lot about singing but he is not the talent scout (ala-Simon) this judging position requires and he knows little about labels and production... Not that it really matters... they just wanted somebody big to make noise! Even though I do not admire him as a person Gary definitely knows where he stands (or at least I thought so) , I don't see what the show could offer to him and vice versa. I really hope Robbie won't be a fat judge. Such judges are singers with music carreers already at dawn. <_<
  15. Adelle, Gary and Minogue do mot make a good judging pannel imo.. I will be dull. Adelle is hot to have due to her fresh success ok, but dump the Minogue singer wannabe :puke2: As for Gary he is ok but boring to death, I cannot believe he agreed to do sth like that when he knows it is not his strong point. Perhaps this is just a rumor... I doubt this will happen but imagine Robbie and Gary doing promo at both shows! This will be BRAINWASHING  I still think Robbie will be too lazy and Gary too cautious to join the shows...
  16. Huge campaign for Gaga :o On the other hand, I fear there will soon be nothing interesting left from the album and no more promo for her to be done. IMO it is not wise to burn her new album out this way, having released 4 songs (and soon 5) before the album is released and visiting every big show all at once. It will flare fast and extinguish soon. By the end of may she will have promoted half the album as promo singles... what is the next step? Again on Ellen etc and the rest half of the album as promo singles? I do not think this BURN OUT campaign is the most appropriate really, but time will tell... (I predict her promo team will be 'renewed' after this era) EDIT: my favourite from this era is also Judas (both video and song)! gotta love the bridge

My Greek half is happy but my English one is disappointed. Still, I liked Running Scared (and the Italian one) and it was a real winning song. WOW at Lena though
  20. :o No regrets is one of Robbie's best singles imo. (the reason he wrote it is a bit chlidish, still the song is grand)
  21. Love Love is falling now (after just 3 days? :o). I think it will still officially chart within the top10, somewhere around 7-8 by the looks of it...

I would have Bruno at no1 anytime if he was to stop Guetta... I'm just too tired of DJ music, it is everywhere, almost identical, and is vocally, musically and lyrically poor... DJ music belongs to the clubs imo. <_< I prefer TT and Gaga songs to Bruno's though. After 4 weeks of LMFAO :puke2: , Bruno will be an improvement nevertheless.

The only one that could actually chart high is Blue IF they win the contest. (there is a good chance of that happening imo, they will finish within top5 no matter what) Jedward? :puke2: ANd no most of ESC songs are not dance, they are just trash... :P
