It is too close at both singles and albums... :cheer: Foo fighters will slow down critically no doubt. It just feels like Adelle is eventually slowing down as well. 120k for Foo and 100k for Adelle perhaps? I was sick of SLY holding that no1 for so many weeks, but I think I prefer this to the  Jlo and the :puke2: LMFAO... Rolling in the Deep for a shock no1 then! It is such a same her best single yet didn't get to no1 while she has an album about to sell 2mil +....

:o Bad day is one of the 5 songs I like from this list. It could be my favourite one as well...

Robbie should quit painting  Great singer and songwriter, still I doubt any of these paintings is higher than elementary-school level! (they are actually finding them impressive on the official site! )

It will be fun to watch how he will manage both solo and TT. There is still a massive tour coming so A LOT could change for Rob... ;) Perhaps he can also judge for the XF, present the Olympics, film a movie and start a family at the same time

They should have a square named after him then! ;)

And coming out of the blue... ( ) go BEPS!

It must be the modern version on miming! Singing together with a full back-tune. The chorus part where we hear the lot singing together is definitely pre-recorded. However if you notice Robbie decides to sing loud some random parts of the chorus (not existing in the original piece) that match perfectly with his lips... so their mikes must be open. Still I can hear the pre-recorded tune during the whole song. Did they win any awards? Is the album doing well in Germany? (silly me.... they must have! they are deffinitely holding a strange device  )

It is one of the few rumors I REALLY love. Solo, solo, solo! And Universal is obviously the best choice for Robbie...

 you are psycho!

:???:  :kink: :heehee:

The video gets :puke2: at some parts... But as a whole it is a great video! I wouldn't expect less from Gaga, she has some of the best videos of the last years in her CV.... Is it me or Gaga's video looks like it was directed from a video game artwork producer though? All this intro , story and artwork behind this bears great resemblance to lots of the big recent video games! I have to admit it is the first video where Gaga actually looks attractive at some parts. (well the pronounced cheekbones ruin it a bit  ) I wonder how long will it be (a matter of few days probably) before this shoots up.

I think 100k first week and 700k total. (Adelle will hold on the no1 album for a while appearenty) Looks like it is a shared opinion! ;)

Appearently they are all TT fans rather than Rob's... I'm actually 'giving away' 2 tickets (I wasn't going solo!) but it looks like I will earn more than 100 xtra pounds after all. Next time I should buy more!   (I am feeling a little guilty tbh) My first thought was buying tickets for San Siro but I am happy now I did't. I am not sure whether San Siro is sold out or not.

Both groups are poor imo... it will take some effort to find 3 songs I can even listen to...

It is definitely way better than what I've expected! The concept is ok but not what I would have expected The dancing part is still disgusting but as a whole it is an interesting video. I am probably the only one here who knows what this is, but to me it looks like 'starcraft: wings of liberty' with 'pirates of the caribean' costumes. I don't know if it could still help the song though... it only has 304 views and the song has been played for ages... P.S: Howard must be dressed in roman armor. Jason is the most fitting one, still when I saw Robbie on the bike  I would definitely spare a coin or two! oh and Kath, would it be of any surprise to you if I told you people are actually paying x2+ for the tickets?

Well it would be suitable for a parade theme... You should laugh. I bet a lot of people will !!! Is there any TT video that has been any good? I think all of them are boring to death and forgettable. Even at the original line-up they were uttrerly embarassing! I hoe the video will change my mind :( A tour theme? Newton meets Harley Davidson and the ruged Dj outside a 'mental health centre'! (that's the kindest thing I can say) :arrr:  B) I will make a lot of money from selling my Progress Tour tickets so I am not disappointed at all!

I doubt they even know how a university looks from the inside! You are right about the sales though. After the reunion TT actually seem to have about 3 million people who would buy their music and slowly but constantly this base has decreased to 2 million over the last few years. The album is progressive but non-fans don't have ears for a hugely succesful act which is marked with a different music style. They definitely cannot reintroduce themselves as 'the English'. (even more after this performance!)

Radio play doen't help that much nowadays. There is no promo at all for Kidz and the Brits performance didn't do the song justice... It looks like there is not much interest in TT anymore. I don't think it will miss the top20 but right now it is definitely slipping down the itunes chart.

Have I missed something? I think people here WORSHIP The Beatles! (common for chart-people since Beatles hold so many stunning records) Does this have to do anthing with Kidz? (it definitely doesn't sound Beatlesque to me  )

Yes but Fearless was Taylor's 2nd album (about same time with TF-TFM) and Speak Now is her 3rd one (I was about to compare this one with BTW). Fearless should be already 6xplat if not even more... (with Speak Now easily 3xplat already I think). It would be definitely hard for Gaga to follow. I have to agree it *could* be nice promo to dicuss about the million, still with 2 singles out and all this promo lined up (including the superheavy online promo) it would be difficult to miss the BTW release date anyway. To be honest I don't think Gaga could sell a millionl that fast (TS is definitely much more album seller than single's) but she could have spectacular first week sales nevertheless. I believe Gaga will sell faster than The Fame, yet because she is so dependent on singles, videos and promo, she will sell slower than TS (still managing a huge total after a whole year)

1 million first week? It is too soon to make such a prediction. I remember Taylor Swift did that 1million-sales-week recently. However Taylor has been selling more albums than Gaga throughout TF or TFM era (right?) and she just did it, I therefore believe it is unlikely. BTW has not been that warmly received in the UK , but I think she could still do 200k. It will depend on the next single as well (it should be getting lot of airplay at the week of her album release).

Leave Taylor alone  She is great at what she does. I don't see the point in Adelle vs Taylor really! Did you expect Taylor Swift to write the Bohemian Rhapsody to give her any credit? Adelle and Taylor are different singers, different styles, and write different songs. Any statement like Adelle's writing brilliant songs while Taylor is cheap is STUPID! Do you have any argument to support that really? Adelle is doing great but don't get mad for Christ's sake! P.s. Gaga's Cult? Not really!!! Although she is the fame monster she could be what is most mainstream in worldwide music at the moment! TV, internet, radio, magazines... she's all over the media, there is no Gaga cult. It is not as if they are acolytes in hidding!

Adelle :o :o :o
