  1. All you said is true... I just notice the Flood has an incredible staying power. At this stage I think all TT songs mentioned dropped like a stone (except for RTW which indeed spent a lot of further weeks every now and then in the charts. You TT fans watching sales perhaps can enlighten us with the chart run of the mentioned singles? (I do remember the epic stall of RTW behind the also incredible Leona... my 2 favorite songs of that year)
  2. We are about to be proven wrong about 'The Flood"! :o The song will still hold on to no14 appearently. (which makes me think it could well end up being the best selling TT song after Robbie left the band) I wonder when is the next single coming... Is it going to be in the middle of February?
  3. It still dosen't change the facts that: a) It is his worst personal single B) It still didn't do that well... Shame didn't drop out of the charts after 4 weeks just because of the whole TT domination. I just wish he had chosen any other new song (Heart and I or Dogs and Birds would have been great) instead!
  4. I usually like most westlife singles! (although when you get to listen to a lot of them ane after the other they get boring-to-death). It is not great but not bad either... I just prefer both safe and (by a mile) what about now. But honestly after how bad safe has done, I don't think it is going to make an impression. If sales are low it may get a bit higher but I can see it having a top20 peak... The album is doing slightly better than their last one but I would call it dead (chartwise) already... It would be a twist if Westlife manage to push either the album or the new single back to the top10.
  5. Huge drop in album sales this week although I had fully expected that. What I had not expected though is Rihanna catapulting to no1! At last there will be some competition. Sales will probably increase a bit next week but they will still be low, I wonder if TT can overtake Rihanna before starting the promotion of next single. I guess it is a matter of who's popularity will fade faster. Below 60k for Progress is a bit disappointing nevertheless... I hope they will still hit 2millions in January. As for the flood, it has a great chart run so far I think it is going to drop just outside the top20 next week! Did S.O.S chart after the performance at royal?
  6. With the tour and the Brits coming + another 2 airplay hit singles it definitely will. Looks like it could do it preety fast though. Perhaps by next year this time the album will have sold 3mil! :o Sales will drop but is there a force that can stop them from being no1? They are really (predictably yet) beyond any competition all these weeks! What is the longest streak for TT at no1 and what is the record for the most weeks at no1 for any act?
  7. I don't know what chart guys think but I feel Nelly is getting worse and worse... I loved her back when she did I'm like a bird. Lately she got mixed up with lots of 'great' producers and she only does cheap club songs. If Nicole can get so high with the 'venomous :puke2: ' poison why shouldn't Nelly with proper promo? How many 'best' popstars are we allowed to pick? Nelly 'the best popstar in the game'    -_- Popeye the sailor man... (tuuut tut!) B)
  8. It would have been a brilliant performance by the looks of it. I hope we are going to eventually see that performance sometime at another show... :o Have TT actually become cool then? I demand a duet with Avril Lavigne! (something like run this town part2)

Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are (BEST) Mike Posner - Cooler Than Me Alexandra Burke - All Night Long Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit) Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed Alexis Jordan - Happiness Eliza Doolittle - Pack Up Flo Rida ft. David Guetta - Club Can't Handle Me Willow Smith - Whip My Hair Justin Bieber ft. Ludacris - Baby (WORST) WOW I am really angry with BJ right now! :nono: There ARE people in here who think there are songs in this list worse than Beaver. I wish them to get a Bieber present this year: If you voted Bieber you get: for no9: a Bieber T-shirt for no8: a Bieber single for no7: a Bieber album for no6: a Bieber haircut :kink: for no5: a Bieber tattoo for no4: Bieber for xmas for no3: Bieber for the whole year for no2: 2 Biebers  -there is no no1 option :P-
  10. KIDZ? Gary is not loosing his touch then after all! KIDZ with riot police! I sincerely believe this song is MADE to be choreographed like that and don't understand Simon's censorship :o This person keeps giving us reasons to hate him... Robbie seems to have a good business relationship with Simon and they wouldn't ruin that by walking away. TT (with the exception of Rob) have never been rebelous anyway but suggesting KIDZ with riot police and then taking it back? Perhaps it would have been much greater promo supporting the song instead!
  11. Gary ok... but Howard? I love the flood but singing it again after two weeks on the same show? As if they don't have any other songs... Looks like 'The flood' will have sold over 300k by the end of the week :cheer: (which means it will definitely do at least 400k total, could even be 500k)
  12. :o I'd better tune in I tonight then! I don't want to miss this
  13. I believe she's the one is much more suitable. It is ONE DIRECTION! Can you imagine them singing LMEY or RDj reallly? Could it be magic would be best suited that's true. They all have childish-sweet voices with nothing rock about them, and they are a band... She's the one is 80% sweet (Robbie will possibly sing the rock part) and is vocally ok for them. Also as a rule of thumb winner DO choose balads (to move grannies? ). I am pretty sure Simon's fav Robbie songs are no regrets, angels and she's the one! It is rumored TT will sing SOS on XF... So this is to be the next single indeed! (the best choice imo as a song; still weird for a christmas single, if they start promoting now they will probably release between Xmas and new year's eve...) Edit: wouldn't kidz be perfect with all this revo in Education, financial&political crisis though? Gary is disapointing me, he should have thought of that !
  14. It should be... how many albums have sold 1 million within 24 days is the UK? TT once, Oasis once and perhaps Coldplay once as well? Nowadays it usually takes a full year for a succesful album to sell a million.
  15. But what will the 5 of them sing then? A medley? They have already sung the Flood! Anyway I am so happy this is happening because I predicted it would from day one. :D  :winner: I believe it is another poor year for XF anyway. Do we have any clue for the songs then? I gotta feeling Robbie will duet something different this time! I hope it is something special ,I have been good at predictions lately. I think lazy days would be great for the occasion. It could also be she's the one or feel. Feel is huge but I don't think it is the most suitable song for one direction.. If they sing Come Undone I will kill myself (they won't). What are your predictions everyone? (don't bet too much money on Shame though :kink: )

I am pretty sure the duet guests won't ever be decisive for the contestants! People will vote for their favourite (they always have a favourite after so many shows) no matter what. The XF does never reveal who is voted the most during the live shows (only the bottom ones) because usually from a point on the winner ALWAYS leads. The results won't change. Isn't Robbie the most popular of the invited bunch though? And as far as the songs are concerned I think the UK would really appreciate a Robbie classic. Xtina is currently in a bad place and let's face it Rihanna ain't the best live singer out there. I think it should be Rebecca-Robbie, Xtina-One Direction, Rihanna-Matt. Creating matching duets doesn't usualy help, they will clash instead...
  17. I don't like Rebecca but Robbie's singing ability is not to be tested anyway. (it is not easy to outsing Rob, he may be inaccurate at times but he always sings LOUD) I remeber TT dueting a million live songs with Leona (GREAT version), who predictably outsang the 4 four of them. The whole meaning of these duets is to support the finalists not for acknowledged artists to prove themselves. I don't believe Rebecca has what it takes to become mega anyway but I'd prefer Rob to duet with the lady with a classic. I hope it is not Angels again... I had expected the rest 4 would be dueting with the other finalist but... I was proven wrong.

Both top 10 at least. Kesha could go all the way to no1 but I think Adele will struggle for top10.
  19. Take that will overtake Madonna very soon B)
  20. I like both songs... (this is actually the first song of Alexandra I've liked and downloaded) Such a shame none of them sold (or sells) as much as I would want them to.
  21. The peas have the no1 in the bag then? The chorus with the dirty bit is the only part of the song I can stand, the verses are SO stupid... Anyway I can see Fergie taking a BIG break to start a family with Josh sometime this year :naughty: :teresa:
