I won't take it the wrong way. He is not a bad person.. but he is Robbie. He is the star, he's got the charisma and the ego as well. I don't think he could ever stand to be benched! Even though he likes the TT project, it is like a voice inside his head keeps whispering 'step up'. He said nothing at the awards ceremony so that the rest (who were trully pleased and speechless like they usually are) wouldn't feel he is trying to lead or play the charismatic one, but it somehow looks inevitable to me too. The TT project was worked out admirably well so far though. (thats because they really like each other now, it is still difficult to squeeze them into one act nevertheless)

Thats not the subject here, but they were already top ten before the performance and the new single is released next week. Don't tell me you'll be shocked if it goes straight to no2! :lol: Imo no1 album is set to Adelle for the time being. I think she could do 100k-ish! And if the live version keeps climbing she could actually hit no1 in the singles chart. (still it is *just* possible, Gaga could sell 100k+, not easy to beat in 4days)

I am starting to believe all these are just rumors so that the fans do not forget Leona has an album on board due to release god knows when... I think they've simply put to much thought on it... If people like it they will buy it. Is it guaranteed that if they wait another year they will find *more worthy* songs? She is a big artist of a big label will all available tools in their hands... It is not as if they are waiting for Leona to write the songs and music on her own from her lifetime experience! (if they do have sb who could right a big song for her, he probably has already done so) I am tired of waiting :angry:

Relax! Albums are always more important than singles and Adelle is doing well beyond anyones expectations with album sales! TT have not gained enough momentum with Kidz and Brits to give her a run yet so she could spend a *few* more weeks at no1. Her album sales are even more massive considering it is February! She is definitely getting all the credit she deserves! ;)

YES. I wish the 5 of them would let go of the old fashined 'mirror' dance routines and and would sing with passion and energy instead (Mark carrying a flag and jumping up and down was cool but not enough) because that's what the song is about. The dance routines are for the dancers, and there were lot of them. I wasn't completely satisfyied with the singing either to tell the truth. (it must have been live) I think I prefer the live of the Flood over this: 2 big voices singing what they are comfortable with. Kidz was more like a big voice out of its comfort zone and ... well a person that could barely sing (no surprise really). And these dance routines... :nocheer: (when they did the disharming thing I was like 'god NO' :drama: :rofl: ) P.S. Robbie looked like he was possesed! He didn't sing a word, he didn't say much for the award (that was cool and kind), and he was somehow not fitting with the show. The rest 4 looked satisfied with the performance and enjoyed themselves and the award at least...

What do you think of last night's performance? I have to admit it was not as good as I had expected... I still LOVE the song though!

I second that :P Rolling in the Deep should have been no1 instead, and this week it should be BTW

There is not a chance Adele gets to no1 this week. Gaga is selling too strong and Adelle would have to double-sell her for the rest of the week. Still Adelle's performance was very good. It is an average song really but her performance made it special. She could be top5 by Thursday-Friday and could end up no3 on Saturday! <<That said, Cheryl (and Take That) have had #1s in Europe, but I guess in othere countries they're selling solely due to their music, as they don't have the media profiling them. >> That's true, but what is also true is that TT is a slightly successfull group in Europe and Cheryl has only had one hit song and nobody really cares about her. I don't see how this makes either act a global superstar. No matter how much I love the album, Progress has not been a great seller (and appearently is not going to become one) outside UK and Ireland (and perhaps a bit of Germany because of Robbie). They are phenomenal in the UK and just ok in Europe (considering they had Robbie on board this time which kind of created more expectations). Cheryl is a UK only act. fullstop.

Vevo? Never heard of it? :o Accounts in utube where offical videos are posted (and therefore not removed for copyright infingement). Robbie didn't have any official accounts till now (I think) on utube. Vevo started as an American trend, but looks like every act has one now. Take That have a vevo too! :lol:

Breathtaking news, Robbie has a vevo! (since mid of Jan 2011) That's good. At last a place where Rob's videos posted won't be taken down. I'd love to see which will now become more popular among them... (it should be Feel on a WW scale)

Do you see a) the left half front of a male body (left shoulder, chest and neck) or B) the whole back (2 shoulder blades, a strange shadow )or © the whole front (full chest and a shadow of what could be Adam's apple)? Either way where is the head? If (a) it is obviously headless and if (B) the blades should lead to the back of the neck which is also symetric and starts above end of the shoulderblades whereas in the picture there is only a strange shadow BEFORE the shoulderblades end, and if © the neck is stuffed into the chest like Quasimodo :wacko: none of them is that ugly :blink:

Well, the flood artwork was a picture of a shiny landscape/sky after the storm (the so-called epic flood) having to do with: hope--> effort ---> triumph. This one is 'the new face of the world'. Probably more of a modern Flood or catastrophe. I can see the sun rising behind a destroyed world (desert? fire?global warming?whatever...) The red sky is usually supposed to depict war, violence, blood the previous or the following day. I believe that's the case here. The coming of a new day when war (of the Kidz) takes/has taken place against the forces that have rendered the world a terrible place to be (desert?). From that point of view it is a 'modern' Flood once again, same pattern. I absolutelly love the artisitic touch of the Progress era! Definitely 100 times better (and more compete) than any other TT artwork. :dance: (I have to admit I liked the concept of the Circus album artwork as well, but it just didn't fit with the singles or the content, I don't think it was a 'Circus' album after all :wacko: ) <<Shoulders and moving down to the head>> :o :o Which way? The higer part is the neck, next to it the shoulder blade, and lower is the chest? Where is the head? :huh: I don't get it...

Progress top10 again this week ;) itunes: The Flood no59 (it is about to pick up again the next 2 weeks) Kidz no123 Angels no138 (must have been played somewhere during the week) Rule the World no184 (typical :) whenever TT is around this makes an appearance) Let's see how these will evolve next week and the week after that

Am I the only one who's not surprized by the overplay of BTW? What did you expect? Same goes for topping the itunes chart so fast! What huge is she against anyway? I think she will have an easy no1 next week. With a quick estimation if she has a double bar and Champ was heading for ~80K (which means ~25K friday-saturday) she could sell about 40-50K in 1,5 days. If we consider Bruno and JJ should sell ~60K she could finally end up top5 (no4 behind Adelle) or at least low top10 if Gaga sells 35-40K.

The clip I've listenned to was not that bad quality after all... There is a LOT of background noise in the original as well. The drama queen part ruins it a bit imo, because it lyrically makes it target gay people only rather than people who FEEL different in any way. Musically it is a old but new, it is ok. I ve only had a few listens but I think I like other Gaga songs more... Considering her status and the anticipation I think it will sell really fast but will last longer than her other big singles.

I listenned to a terrible-quality clip last night (I hope I didn't dream of it instead :lol:) , but by the sounds of it I am pretty sure it must be the one. I tried to find one with better quality but it looks as if all have been erased. (it sounded like sb has recorded it using a phone or a low quality device(it was definitely not legal ;)) I therefore wonder how the hell they managed to scan and delete it)

I agree about Kidz. I don't want it to be the CR song... I'd rather see how succesful it would be on its own. (it won't make much difference though, let's face it with or without CR Kidz will get all possible radio and TV support) About the cover: I like the colours but I do not get the concept here (is there any actually). Will they only use yellow-to-red in all covers to match with the album? :o The album has a great cover, but the flood and now kidz... <_< I am glad Kidz is not burnt out by overplay already. At last this is done properly...

The truth is I believe it is one of the most highly anticipated songs of the year. In my opinion Lady Gaga could easily sell over 60k in 2 days. If it has huge promo from radio/tv etc it could well be no1 if champ has not sold well over 100k. (I would absolutely love this to happen, I think this song is the most special and personal Gaga has written---sounds to me like a darker xtina's Beautiful fused with speechless)

Are these *album only* versions (the downloads) or can I download them seperately? ''The Rudebox DVD features a series of nine short films inspired by the album, commissioned by Robbie and created by some of the most talented independent film-makers.'' Is this any good? Sounds really interesting to me...

I am sorry to rain on your parade here but: (IMO) The video has some nice parts but as a whole it is an abomination ... Extremely cheap and disappointing (stupid and disgusting at parts also). The song on its own is average/ok really. How can one of the most beautiful women in showbiz look that bad an a video clip? It is neither kinky nor funny (not to mention sexy :puke2: ). It is just a mash-up of catchy 20sec clips cherry picked from the likes of Gaga or Kesha... or whatever. It does not even have a concept! :o No more trash from Rihanna (the best female popstar of the last 5 years imo) please! Other than that , seeing people's warm approval, i think it will get top5. (It will not make me watch the video again though!)

I hate musicals anyway... :P It is surprising that there are no musicals for his life though. There has been noboby as big for the last years :o (+ he is a spicy character nevertheless) Still there is no way anyone could convince me to watch it! :lol:
