  1. It is identical to Kanye's Heartless! But it is a strong single, I believe it will get to no1.
  2. I think my original idea was much more... painful :P (sduuub!) :teresa:
  3. Doen't surprise me at all... typical Robbie However this is scary in many ways :o :o :o (the very thought of the sneak between to start with, I can't stop thinking of a .... chopper :kink: watching that.. )
  4. No, just the ones he wrote solo ;) Lets face it 75% of the material is Robbie's work (even 8 letters appearently), the rest probably helped with a melody (Gary) or polished the choruses (Howard). To be fair WDYWFM is Mark's song all over. For Affirmation & Flowerbed I don't know who did what but for the rest 9 it is mr RW. (I usually keep this to myself because TT fans may not like the concept; deep inside they know it is true, they know TT songs better than I do anyway- they just don't want to admit it) :teresa: :teresa: :teresa: :teresa: :arrr: :teresa: :teresa: :teresa: :teresa:
  5. Well Jason looks supicious to me if that counts. All those hand-tricks... he could be doing some voodoo stuff to the other 4. As for Howard he is too silent, I bet he has a lot to hide. :P I think the master-manipulator is Ayda though! I bet she secretly wants to be an XF judge.
  6. This poll would be a little subjective anyway... it is Robbie's forum after all ;) After a lot of listens I still hear Robbie. When are we getting the first live performance? Brit awards?
  7. Well, it wouldn't last forever anyway. It will be quite mature to split up when they are all still friends this time. For a change... I also feel TT definitely won't top next tour in same way neither TT4 nor Robbie solo will probably repeat Progress' huge sales. Soon enough (maybe even in a year) it could become the best-seller for both acts. But both have had great sales and chart success so far in their careers, let's not be greedy. A great album (Rob solo) is good enough for me even if it sells 2Xplat. (it won't) Even if the reunion ends right after the tour finishes, both acts have benefited from it and in a surprising way it has worked out much better and more civilized than I expected, love the album , love the singles, will watch them on tour and I've come to like the rest 4 a bit more
  8. This is getting creepy! :hithead:  (the wikipedia has changed the chorus singer from Robbie to Gary and back to Robbie! :drama: ) I was 100% sure it was Robbie before that poll... could it be wishful thinking? It is true their voices are similar at that pitch but I still think it is Robbie... I mean everyone said it was Robbie on the first listen (even reviewers) before this discussion started... and now it is taking over the forums + utube :o
  9. :o It is clearly Robbie (although it could be the key Barlow likes to sing at) but even from the pronounciation it must be Rob. Finally it is definitely not a tempo Gary is comfortable with... And btw for copyright reasons the utube video you posted a link to has modified pitch... The album version is different. (you honestly ask or is this poll some kind of trick that I just walked into? )
  10. Bruno had a massive 1st week. He could easily do 80k for 2nd week, I am not sure Britney can do that in 6 days... Anyway imo it is 'justice served', Bruno's song is 20 times better than Britney's.
  11. Britney will soar ahead like she's done everywhere else in the world, even with that poor song. There is no doubt ;)
  12. Bruno Mars. He has had monster hits! Perhaps something like Adelle 60K and Bruno 90K (followed by Rihanna 40K)... I still don't believe either act is set to sell huge amounts. If Bruno continues to release hit songs he may sell a lot in the long run though.
  13. Bruno has the best song... but Britney is Britney. I think it will be no1 Britney and no2 Bruno (but it could be close)
  14. It has been indeed confirmed... It is KIDZ :) 28th February out!

But what if even at no6 it sells less than 20k? This happens at this time of the year not only because the market is at a pause but also because there are no new big releases. Album sales are really poor at the moment. It would be much better if she could sell 40k instead and end up top15 during xmas sales... Rihanna is the only big release that still sells well (relatively at least). It should be because of the row of super-succesful singles she's had lately.
  16. They both benefited hugely, I don't believe Robbie or TT could have released a new album to hit 2 million that fast and probably 3million+ sometime in the future. That said I have to disagree about Progress being the best thing Robbie has done musically though. It is fresh and very good (beyond anyone'e expectetions) but Rob's discography has had better albums. <_< Well, watching the chart run of patience I actually think that all these top2 weeks won't be ever matched again by either act as both are album sellers... It is all about right timing though: it is out of the question to expect from RTW to overtake Leona, nobody could have done it at the time. I wonder how the next single will do... I guess it will not be really succesful on it's own it will just push the album up again. P.S: I am dying to see if TT are nominated (they will be) and for which Brit awards. I don't remember either act ever winning best album. (not sure if they were nominated, christmas releases are not usually chosen and Robbie or TT release around Christmas period).
  17. All you said is true... I just notice the Flood has an incredible staying power. At this stage I think all TT songs mentioned dropped like a stone (except for RTW which indeed spent a lot of further weeks every now and then in the charts. You TT fans watching sales perhaps can enlighten us with the chart run of the mentioned singles? (I do remember the epic stall of RTW behind the also incredible Leona... my 2 favorite songs of that year)
  18. We are about to be proven wrong about 'The Flood"! :o The song will still hold on to no14 appearently. (which makes me think it could well end up being the best selling TT song after Robbie left the band) I wonder when is the next single coming... Is it going to be in the middle of February?
  19. It still dosen't change the facts that: a) It is his worst personal single B) It still didn't do that well... Shame didn't drop out of the charts after 4 weeks just because of the whole TT domination. I just wish he had chosen any other new song (Heart and I or Dogs and Birds would have been great) instead!
  20. I usually like most westlife singles! (although when you get to listen to a lot of them ane after the other they get boring-to-death). It is not great but not bad either... I just prefer both safe and (by a mile) what about now. But honestly after how bad safe has done, I don't think it is going to make an impression. If sales are low it may get a bit higher but I can see it having a top20 peak... The album is doing slightly better than their last one but I would call it dead (chartwise) already... It would be a twist if Westlife manage to push either the album or the new single back to the top10.
  21. Huge drop in album sales this week although I had fully expected that. What I had not expected though is Rihanna catapulting to no1! At last there will be some competition. Sales will probably increase a bit next week but they will still be low, I wonder if TT can overtake Rihanna before starting the promotion of next single. I guess it is a matter of who's popularity will fade faster. Below 60k for Progress is a bit disappointing nevertheless... I hope they will still hit 2millions in January. As for the flood, it has a great chart run so far I think it is going to drop just outside the top20 next week! Did S.O.S chart after the performance at royal?
  22. With the tour and the Brits coming + another 2 airplay hit singles it definitely will. Looks like it could do it preety fast though. Perhaps by next year this time the album will have sold 3mil! :o Sales will drop but is there a force that can stop them from being no1? They are really (predictably yet) beyond any competition all these weeks! What is the longest streak for TT at no1 and what is the record for the most weeks at no1 for any act?
  23. I don't know what chart guys think but I feel Nelly is getting worse and worse... I loved her back when she did I'm like a bird. Lately she got mixed up with lots of 'great' producers and she only does cheap club songs. If Nicole can get so high with the 'venomous :puke2: ' poison why shouldn't Nelly with proper promo? How many 'best' popstars are we allowed to pick? Nelly 'the best popstar in the game'    -_- Popeye the sailor man... (tuuut tut!) B)
  24. It would have been a brilliant performance by the looks of it. I hope we are going to eventually see that performance sometime at another show... :o Have TT actually become cool then? I demand a duet with Avril Lavigne! (something like run this town part2)

I don't see where you disagree . Leona indeed was the only GLOBAL superstar of the XF that's a fact. Her second album did little worldwide + on the back of the first one, still did much better than any album of any other XF star. The first one being certified all around the globe was just phenomenal. JLS are a UK and Ireland only act and so is Olly. Even in the UK they would never match her success though. People shouldn't expect XF winners to top American or Italian or German etc charts, they have their own winners they have voted for there (similar longevity with the UK ones) and there is no space for many more reallity TV stars, especially when they are from a foreign country, they don't know their story and haven't watched their 'way to the top'. Yes there is a capacity for those light-XF stars too! And I am saying light because if you skim their discography and charisma very few of them deserve to be global anyway. (I personally cannot name more than 3 from any show WW I am aware of)
