Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatKIDZ? Gary is not loosing his touch then after all! KIDZ with riot police! I sincerely believe this song is MADE to be choreographed like that and don't understand Simon's censorship :o This person keeps giving us reasons to hate him... Robbie seems to have a good business relationship with Simon and they wouldn't ruin that by walking away. TT (with the exception of Rob) have never been rebelous anyway but suggesting KIDZ with riot police and then taking it back? Perhaps it would have been much greater promo supporting the song instead!

TT Single. The Flood (2010)
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatGary ok... but Howard? I love the flood but singing it again after two weeks on the same show? As if they don't have any other songs... Looks like 'The flood' will have sold over 300k by the end of the week :cheer: (which means it will definitely do at least 400k total, could even be 500k)

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI believe she's the one is much more suitable. It is ONE DIRECTION! Can you imagine them singing LMEY or RDj reallly? Could it be magic would be best suited that's true. They all have childish-sweet voices with nothing rock about them, and they are a band... She's the one is 80% sweet (Robbie will possibly sing the rock part) and is vocally ok for them. Also as a rule of thumb winner DO choose balads (to move grannies? ). I am pretty sure Simon's fav Robbie songs are no regrets, angels and she's the one! It is rumored TT will sing SOS on XF... So this is to be the next single indeed! (the best choice imo as a song; still weird for a christmas single, if they start promoting now they will probably release between Xmas and new year's eve...) Edit: wouldn't kidz be perfect with all this revo in Education, financial&political crisis though? Gary is disapointing me, he should have thought of that !

Album sales Progress - Fastest seling album of the century!
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatIt should be... how many albums have sold 1 million within 24 days is the UK? TT once, Oasis once and perhaps Coldplay once as well? Nowadays it usually takes a full year for a succesful album to sell a million.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatBut what will the 5 of them sing then? A medley? They have already sung the Flood! Anyway I am so happy this is happening because I predicted it would from day one. :D  :winner: I believe it is another poor year for XF anyway. Do we have any clue for the songs then? I gotta feeling Robbie will duet something different this time! I hope it is something special ,I have been good at predictions lately. I think lazy days would be great for the occasion. It could also be she's the one or feel. Feel is huge but I don't think it is the most suitable song for one direction.. If they sing Come Undone I will kill myself (they won't). What are your predictions everyone? (don't bet too much money on Shame though :kink: )

X-Factor Chart Thread (II)
I am pretty sure the duet guests won't ever be decisive for the contestants! People will vote for their favourite (they always have a favourite after so many shows) no matter what. The XF does never reveal who is voted the most during the live shows (only the bottom ones) because usually from a point on the winner ALWAYS leads. The results won't change. Isn't Robbie the most popular of the invited bunch though? And as far as the songs are concerned I think the UK would really appreciate a Robbie classic. Xtina is currently in a bad place and let's face it Rihanna ain't the best live singer out there. I think it should be Rebecca-Robbie, Xtina-One Direction, Rihanna-Matt. Creating matching duets doesn't usualy help, they will clash instead...

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI don't like Rebecca but Robbie's singing ability is not to be tested anyway. (it is not easy to outsing Rob, he may be inaccurate at times but he always sings LOUD) I remeber TT dueting a million live songs with Leona (GREAT version), who predictably outsang the 4 four of them. The whole meaning of these duets is to support the finalists not for acknowledged artists to prove themselves. I don't believe Rebecca has what it takes to become mega anyway but I'd prefer Rob to duet with the lady with a classic. I hope it is not Angels again... I had expected the rest 4 would be dueting with the other finalist but... I was proven wrong.

Adele vs Kesha
Both top 10 at least. Kesha could go all the way to no1 but I think Adele will struggle for top10.

Most weeks at #1 in the UK charts...
Take that will overtake Madonna very soon B)

iTunes Chart: December 2010 (II)
I like both songs... (this is actually the first song of Alexandra I've liked and downloaded) Such a shame none of them sold (or sells) as much as I would want them to.

iTunes Chart: December 2010 (I)
The peas have the no1 in the bag then? The chorus with the dirty bit is the only part of the song I can stand, the verses are SO stupid... Anyway I can see Fergie taking a BIG break to start a family with Josh sometime this year :naughty: :teresa:

The lows and highs of the Singles/Album chart
1)Recovery had a lucky no1 streak imo. There were a lot of no1's (and not only) who sold much more than Recovery did. (if we count out the first week). Also considering the album stalled at 2xplat I don't feel it is hugely remarkable either way. 2)I have to agree about Xtina, she is a shocking flop. (never expected her to do good, but this was terrible) 3)Although people here have predicted this would happen, Joe flopping is another highlight of the year imo. 4)TT are a highlight (together with a lot of drama with Shame!) but everyone knew they would rule the charts so it is not fresh news anymore. 5)MJ's album. We don't yet know how this will perform in the charts but I feel it will be 'special' if it suddenly does much less than what people expect.

X-Factor Chart Thread (I)
I can only guess Mariah would be the most suitable for the final with her x-mas songs. And TT with all that hype around them could be a choice here (remember Robbie was on XF twice last year). What about Kesha's we R who we R? Will it be released in time for that or is it just out of the question?

TT Single. The Flood (2010)
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI believe TT have not made any decent FULL (as a whole) album till Progress, but they definitely have some decent songs to date such as Never Forget, Back For Good, Everything Changes, Rule the World (+some great tours and live performances that are becoming rare with all studio acts nowadays). But then again this guy is the typical TT hater. I know a lot of guys like that who feel they have always been gayish-thrash, no charisma, teenage light pop and then bland love balads. This has some shards of truth in it, but musically they have produced some good songs. Don't expect people from music industry to fully respect them though, sometimes they get too selfrighteous just to make an impression.

TT Single. The Flood (2010)
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatTrust me they WANT him to act like this, he is the star-entertainer of the group. Look at them, they are having fun, I don't believe anyone of them is really jealous. (remember Gary used to be 70% of TT for a long long time and everyone but Rob was ok with it). Robbie stealing the show will tire them up with time I guess, but especially outside the UK-Ireland they are just glad to have him on board again. Robbie has multiplatinum albums and hit songs there and his reputation is a good start. They wouldn't want the dozens of Robbie fans who were on that show to start yelling at them. (I could hear Robbie-Robbie on lots of their EU TV appearences ;) ). They knew it from the start and they look ok with it, I really don't see any kind of trouble so far, it is all working just fine: 1)Robbie did his Rudebox part2=lightbox  + it was greatly received this time 2)Gary has sb with fresh ideas and a wide worldwide appeal on the band + sb charesmatic at stage at last 3)Robbie also has his friends back together and leaves all the plotting-scheduling-promo for Gary as we all now he is SO LAZY when he is solo. 4)The rest 3 are (especially Mark) are getting more involved in the music. 5)They all are super-popular and make a lot of money again. I still DO NOT believe it will last for years but for the time being the reunion is fresh and successful and the 5 are drenched to the skin into success. ;) (notice how triumphant they sing ''now they'll never dance again'' shaking fists  B) )

Album sales Progress - Fastest seling album of the century!
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take That(I just copy my post from general chart dicussion) No way they could battle with Taylor Swift... She has sold slightly more than 1million in the US alone on her first week. I would also like to see how on earth mediatraffic breaks down 1million WW sales (it could actually refer to shipments instead) for Progress (first week). It CAN't have sold more than 50K Germany 30K Italy 30K France----> 200K max whole EU + 100K for the rest WW =800K max I actually believe it has sold roughly 520K UK +200K outside = WW less than 750K.... Look at where Progress charted last week outside the UK, let's not be delusional. Selling 500K outside the UK would require no1's ALL over the world! As much as I would love them to be the best selling act they are most definitelly not! Taylor's Speak Now must have sold at least 1.3millions first week. They must be also behind Eminem's first week at no3 if I am not forgetting anyone else.

Sunday Chart Predictions
My estimation in 164,4K which is great considering that it pretty much the amount Leona's 2nd album did. Their 2nd album was never going to be as successful as the 1st one (which could get 5Xplatinum soon). The 2nd album of JLS could still hit 800K imo (depends on the success of their next singles, any estimations with one week data are too simplified) I also have for this week(estimations): Westlife-->101,5K TT-------->222,7K (I would expect 250K+)
