iTunes Chart: November 2010 (III)
JLS must be dropping a bit. Take That and Lady Goulding are closer now (actually TT combined and Ellie are same length :o ) I doubt it will change a lot to the total though. Even if TT overtake JLS this evening or tomorrow they wil need a big lead which is not really possible. As for Ellie she had a slow start she will need a huge lead to overtake JLS or TT, I guess she won't even overtake Rihanna.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Progress will definitely do better. (how much is the question here) I was only refering to the reunited TT as a four-piece. "that goes to Hitstastic as well"

Poll :How many Beatles singles will chart?
I am not sure Beatles are the best thing ever happened to music so I could say they are overrated if people believe that. However I cannot say they are overrated because they have been (like it or not) one of the most important acts in music history + revolutional + creative for their times. They may sound weird, old and retro now because they ARE! Music changes with time, almost every song you will listen to that is as old as the Beatles or even older will sound old-weird-boring. This doesn't affect their classic value imo, even if I have never added anything appart from 4-5 songs of the Beatles discography into my ipod playlist. And I am 21 and my parents have NO Beatles albums! (if that makes any difference)

Sunday Chart Predictions
Take that were NEVER massive accross europe... what do you mean massive? What is most weird is that people saying that do know more about charts than I do... Patience had a little success but I doubt they received any heavy European cetifications. (also consider the market was at a better state back then) 400K was not massive at all imo... (It is not that, but it could be translated like 1Xplat in Germany and 1Xplat in France) ALSO: Has any other song of TT except for Patience even recieved any top10 placing in Europe? I remember Cheryl managed that with FFTL (she is a UK only act as well) LOL

Sunday Chart Predictions
1) did you even give it a chance? did you listen to it? 2) It is NOT very poor at all. You may not like it but you cannot say it is very poor. 3) You are exaggerating. I prefer Progress you may prefer BHN but... this doesn't make it 10 times better -_- . I doubt there are a lot of people around here that have listened to both albums and will say the one of Oasis is FAR better. 4) If progress was not a threat to Oasis record would it be a little less poor instead? (80%chance Oasis will keep the record so try to be a bit more objective) There wouldn't be any comparison if it hadn't been for the record really. It was a completely different era for album sales back then.

Take That Progress sales
It is yet a possibility with the hype , the singles and the tour coming... IF it is not their last album as 5TT then it becomes less possible thats true. But the crazy ones are those voting BELOW 2 million really. Even as a catalogue seller it would definitely sell two millions after a few years. IMO it will have sold 2 millions before the Brits maximum - by January probably. Progress may stall after that point at 2.5 millions but it could eventually sell the last 0.5million as a catalogue seller (150-200/year is NOT extraordinary for TT or Robbie)

Sunday Chart Predictions
I depends? You mean the first week record or 7days record Oasis hold both. TT have a slight chance to beat the first week record but they won't beat the full 7days record (although 7days record does not really exist  ) TT had huge preorders and they are hugely frontloaded (during the 1st week at least) even more than the Circus I believe. So the estimation of 850 according to Subo is too much imo and the estimation according to the Circus 750 is probably also quite bigger. Looks as if they will do (550-650)K though perhaps even more if sales are more consistent than we expect.

someone mentions later Rihanna at 58K which one is right and which one is wrong?

Take That Progress sales
People voting under 400K should be amazed! :P :P :P We are not crazy ones you see? I think we will say that to people voting 400-500K later on during the week (friday most probably the album will be close to if not already over that mark) Amazing sales... I wonder if they will fall fast during the week or continue to sell the estimated 650K...

Take That Progress sales
It is a topic for predictions but come on... do you REALLY believe Progress will sell 150, 180, 200, 250K ? Also if it has a week of about 400K now and xmas (as mentioned) how can it end up selling 1 million? Midweek sales will clear things up for everyone. If the album is by then over 250K (not to mention the more realstic 400) it obviously won't sell 200 the whole week, will it? :hithead:

Take That Progress sales
I would have thought with all promo lined up for Germany and Robbies status it is surefire no1.

Rob's tour with TT: Progress Live - Tour Dates

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (II)
JLS are still comfortably ahead of TT... The high version has (predictably) stalled. Album's out. The BEP's are holding up very well :o I doubt either Safe or G6 could ever get top5.

Take That Progress sales
I second that! I've been just told... I was always secretly expecting ~600K but I still cannot believe they will beat this mosterous record (over 750) until I see it happen. Perhaps some people here predicting 180-250K will eat their hat after all. :teresa: EDIT: I have no info about their itunes sales... but 250K looks out of the question to me. No album has ever sold even more than 60K on itunes. I believe you have there the Amazon estimate for the whole week together with the HMV estimate for the first day. (HMV total for the week could be 300+)... This looks like a more suitable estimation: HMV 320, Amazon 200, itunes 90, other retailers 90 (~700K) BUT I don't trust such numbers till I see them officially. (all this is just an unofficial estimation from a friend in MW)

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWhich means people think he sang very well! To be fair he was really shaky and emotional at the beginning until Mark started playing with him but he improved later on. What are they talking about? Robbie forgets the lyrics, may sing out of tune at times but has never mimed

Take That Progress sales
I'd say 450-550K first week (they can do even more than that)! 1 million after 3 weeks (or 4 maximum) and 2 millions by the end of the year (by March max). I am actually curious if anyone will manage to knock them down from the no1 spot. Looks like there are more powerful singles coming...

I am bored with westlife releasing the same thing over and over again. I used to like a part of them but they have lost their touch. sigura tha ine panta kaliteroi apo tus jls simfono. (an kai mono esi tha katalaveis ti leo!) :naughty:

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (II)
Westlife: great voices--> you probably mean 1 or 2 of them great guys--> ok poor music--> ok creativity--> never heard of!!! Take That: Gary Barlow is a star---> never was even back then when they were 20 yo. It is a film we have already seen now, Robbie is the star and the charisa of the band, although Gary is a better 'chief' and musician and a talented artist. the rest are poor in everything--> including Robbie who has done everything? Anyway you will be surprized by this album seeing how much (more than Gary) others contribute. It is a different direction for TT nevertheless. It is actually a worthy effort from everyone. (some more than others)

X Factor's Farcical Sales Claims
Even if they meant so they kept it silent so than people would asume they mean WW. Robbie should be WELL ahead in the UK albumswise anyway so it is still a lie.
-
iTunes Chart: November 2010 (II)
Can you perhaps post them then? My pop bars are SO irrelevant. A short one (JLS) is followed by a longer one(TT) and then comes a third one (Rihanna's) which is even bigger... And I've got the 'most recent' itunes version. They should be calles ifools

New Michael Jackson single to debut Monday
I think its a disgrace too. Maybe I could get a demo of Mariah after some decades and sing a duet with 'her'! COOL :puke2: They should be snobbed for doing it. A bunch o m*********ers making money on a dead popstars back. MJ was hugely important back then, enough with him now... it is getting creepy. Perhaps we can find some blood from his jacket, extract his dna and create a clone! :banghead: + I don't think he would ever accept such a cheap collaboration attempt, he doesn't need that.
