iTunes Chart: October 2010 (III)
Was there any doubt Cheryl would get this? Both songs are :puke2: (this could be Rihanna's worst single from the last 2 albums) but it is Cheryl's first single from this album so... Robbie's no2 curse is haunting Rihanna now. Cheryl will soon have a huge lead over the rest of the top10

Sunday Chart Predictions
I guess you could be right about that. I don't see how album sales could accelerate during the week with such a weak single. It's just more likely that the album didn't have huge preorders (they started late) so they could continue selling at an almost steady pace during the rest of the week. I remember Robbie\Jls doing 220+ after 85+ on their first day (with HUGE preorders) but both had strong promo lined up + strong singles. 180k could be a more realistic figure indeed but I feel 200k is not out of the question.

Sunday Chart Predictions
So about 200K for KOL... It is much better that what I expected! I wonder if sales will stay strong with such a weak (and falling) single. Perhaps Cheryl will overtake on her first week if KOL sales decrease a lot. SuBo will definitely reach no1 for a week :puke2: And then there is TT... Robbie outsold the rest of the top10 last week and now KOL will do so  (I doubt Robbie will sell more than 80K) What was the last time sb other than Robbie, TT or XF/Britain'sGT sold more than 200K in a week? (Coldplay?)

Robbie & all things Take That
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI know I am on the verge of being hunted down... but I really like this cover! (I should mention I definitely didn't like the one for the Flood but that will hardly be a surprise to anyone here). Like the colours, like the concept, it is really way beyond my expectations! :o It is simple, artistic and meaningful at the same time. (although 'progress' is questioned  the whole project makes perfect sence) Oh, I forgot it also makes perfect sence with 'The Flood' now. The video is still on its own but it is clear the song is reffering to the 'biblic flood' , 'evolution' and 'progress'. I like the song a little bit more now that we have all pieces of the puzzle

TT Single. The Flood (2010)
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatIn which countries has it been released? German territory or all around bar the UK? It is definitely not in the Greek itunes... When are the 'boys' on the XF? Edit: IAOOC is still no1 on itunes in Greece (not a surprize). As soon as I learn it's charting position for the past week I inform you. It must be pretty high :D

Battle of the Boy Bands!
The flood is much better than shame + much better recieved! I didn't say it is a unique masterpiece! <_< There are even songs from 2010 that I like more than it. But it is a very good song and the hype will build on it. I don't want blood trust me  Otherwise I would be doing medical studies instead :P

Battle of the Boy Bands!
Save all your wishes for something else! ^_^ This is going to do extremely well one way or another. It has been a REALLY long time since the majority of TT fans + non fans liked a TT single (if we count out the few remaining Rob-haters) that much. I only hear positive comments here and there from people with various music interests (critics will probably follow in the same wavelength). ''The flood'' will be a killer single ;) This will give the album an additional push, longevity will depend on the rest of the songs though. I heard the release will be pushed forward in Germany. (?) I don't see the point in that... If they want to release sooner they should do so worldwide. Robbie's great success (and promo) in Germany has paved the way for TT but they shouldn't just rush in! EDIT: It is a song really suitable for live singing. Except for the fast part Robbie sings the rest will be easy to sing live so I am expecting a good live performance.

A Silence at number 1 for Christmas 2010
 I don't get it... Run,Patience and Bad Romance were some of the best no1 of each year mentioned... Why to go against them anyway when 9/10 no1s were worse? This campaign sucks! Why buy and support 'silence' for no1? Are we suddenly out of songs? Also it is too soon for any campaign and I am not that sure we will need one this time... If we end up in a world of non XF abominations toping the X-mas chart because of stupid campaigns it will be even more pathetic. Don't forget the reason these campaigns started after all.

TT Single. The Flood (2010)
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI only partly like the last part of the video. It is a very powerful song but the video is BAD. The white-pyjama dressed uncles are :puke2: I do not like the concept of the video at all I was hoping for a storm something darker, misty perhaps, meaningfull at least for the big reunion... Boybands are way out of fashion in worldwide music scene and this video is even more out of fashion. I hope it won't be detrimental to the single's success because I like the song. Appart from some London pics there was nothing worthy of attention in this video. (not to mention they all looked ugly) Why the hell didn't they shoot a proper video? I bet they could have the best directors if they wanted. Videos are very important nowadays! at the song :nono: at the video

In And Out Of Consciousness: 1990-2010
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatA friend compiled it for me using current itunes charts from each countries itunes store. (the ones you can view the whole top 200 with by changing your country) It updates really fast compared to the top10 songs of apple which seems to update once or twice a day or so... ;) Shame is doing pretty badly I would say. (remember Bodies...) Fully deserved flop anyway, Europe wouldn't fall for a such song. The album is doing great (perhaps even better than RKTVS in some cases) and there has been no promo at all in most of these countries and no touring for a long time. :)

TT Single. The Flood (2010)
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take That:o  Just noticed that the chorus of the Flood is almost identical to the chorus of an old Greek boyband song (which is definitely a rip-off sb else that I don't know :P  )

iTunes Chart: October 2010 (II)
We definitelly disagree here. In my opinion, although Shame was a shame Bodies was a big 1st single (a lot of people disagree on that so guess it was not that instant). I knew Bad Boys would get the no1 too but not because it was better. Even feel wouldn't chalenge Bad Boys and Angels wouldn't challenge Bleeding Love... It was the XF winners big 1st single and Rob's single selling ability is not good enough for that. In what world is Bad Boys superior to RB or Bodies really? There is much confusion on Rob's 'flops or bad performances'. Rudebox was a flop for Rob's selling standards and its quality was under his standards for a big percentage (the older ones?) of his fanbase. When people or press make such comments they have to do with Robbie only and not Robbie compared to Alex or anyone else. I strongly believe Bodies was high quality compared to Bad Boys. But it is beyond obvious that Rudebox is not "best be forgotten or flop" compared with Alexandra's (I am only using her as an example because you refered to her) Overcome both sales- and quality-wise. I remember a lot of fans and haters blamed Alex for not singing live so I quess she didn't quite outshine him despite the fact he was shaky and his singing was bad. And since we are talking here about the XF risking going more offtopic I would say it has already peaked and it is moving down now. XF winners do fade away fast and saleswise Leona( )> Alex/Jls > Olly/Joe>....... It always has to do with the quality of their semi-puppet' work but it really appears to work this way. But since the fresh XF blood is weak this year Alex+Jls will not suffer a huge decrease in popularity because FX fans will turn to them.

iTunes Chart: October 2010 (II)
Alexandra's sales were beyond Robbie's reach anyway. He is not a singles's seller and 187k is much more than what he could sell even if Bodies was better received. Her sales had nothing to do with Robbie. Alexandra would sell what she did and so would Robbie no matter if they were releasing on the same week or not. Also we are talking about different numbers here but JLS easily beat Alex on album sales. It is kind of becoming a tradition! (she did not flop in any way though; she is more than safe for the time being) I believe Cee lo will get this no1 for a 2nd week :o Robbie's GH is what makes Shame fall I'd say. Peope buy the album rather than the song (so did I). Shame is nothing remarkable and Rob's fanbase is not that keen on chart battles to care about how well it does.

In And Out Of Consciousness: 1990-2010
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatIt would be interesting if we somehow knew how much each format of IAOOC sells. It looks as if the deluxe version sells better than the simple one. This is understandable since the deluxe is SO much better (not to mention the Ultimate which is however sadly very expensive) but it is a HUGE thing, isn't the it? I don't recall many deluxe editions doing that good despite the fact deluxe is more expensive. Not to mention artists nowadays usually have to promote a bunch of (hit) singles to push the (cheap) album. Being able to sell an expensive + multi-disc album on the back of the 'annoying' Shame demostrates what a big album selling power Robbie still is. At last an easy no1 for RW after a LONG time. :cheer:

Battle of the Boy Bands!
I am bringing this up because I ve just listened to 'the Flood'. TT will crush JLS , I am more sure than ever now. Perhaps single sales won't be as impressive because of album preorders but they may still be enough. (?)
