:blink: No album is ever good enough to become everyone's favorite otherwise we would have billion sellers evers year. We usually don't even have albums selling over 10milion coppies. Since you are reffering to a specific album -I guess you have listened to it- I can name all of the quallity elements I mentioned before in it, but the truth is that it won't make any difference. You cannot make sb appreciate a record by 'proving' its quallity, you either like it or you don't and I quess you don't. I don't like everything critics, awards etc recommend as well so I know how it works. I know a lot of people that think 'feel' is terrible , others that never liked Mariah Carey and other that hate MJ (I dont like him that much as well) :D anyway RKTVS is a good album for everyone (even if not great). it looks as if the bullet missed my leg :dance:

hmmm... not a bad year for albums. Reality killed the video star (The best IMO) The END Fearless (not sure if it counts on this year) Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel Brand New Eyes Perhaps Echo as well - we'll see I am not sure about The element of Freedom- haven't listened to it I have to admit that I have listened to only 6 of them... and not the whole albums and perhaps I should add The XX – XX to my list. ... the definition of BEST is a bit misty anyway I think. (lyrics, rhythm, music, creativity, innovation, vocals is what comes to my head)

OMG I don't like any of them much. I can't stand most of them... What a loser list. Most of these lists have to be junk... its all advertising, money and promotion sometimes. Who compiled this list originally as the best albums of the year by the way???

Lady GaGa - Paparazzi (that was a surprise not getting to no1) :) Taylor Swift - Love Story (she's never been big in the uk but she's as huge as it gets in the US) Beyonce - Halo Robbie Williams - Bodies (one of the best songs of the year but none can beat the xf winners promo single. same happened with bleeding love and the great "Rule the world". the only diferrence is that BL was ace but BB is TERRIBLE!)

I hate to say this but with the RATM campaign over banana-Joe will eventually climb. No song from the rest of the top10 seems powerful enough at the moment to sell more than 60k... although 7 of them are much better than the climb.

People laughed when I said Robbie could have the xmas no2. It doesn't seem that distant now does it? (Well I don't count RATM, it is actually a project) No4 is fine as well I think. Honestly, I had started doubting whether he could go top5. It is a good song but it has been underperforming . And what's wrong with that JOURNEY thing? Its doing brilliant and I ve never heard of it. It must have got no promo at all. Is it that good then?

Well it was a good show, the problem is that the winners song is definitely not worth 1,000,000 sales. The show is fine but its unfair power over music is what annoys everyone. Do you really believe that because of winning the show the winner should have a milion seller, a successful album and a no1 promo single regardless the quallity of its music? Because sadly thats whats been happenning, even with guyz that only last 2 years on the stage to be replaced by new puppets! If the singer and song were worthy I wouldn't have problem but shouldn't we at least show that we have music taste and dont haste to buy everything they sell us just because of the show?
