B) 3) I cannot use your link, but she IS no73 on my feed now :D 4) Some pop acts actually do sell very good in Greece (Bad romance & Tik Tok currently) but it is an unpredictable market where songs low in the chart sell very few copies 5) Greece is a market which can be as big as Italy (or even bigger) for favored artists but 10 times smaller for the rest. 6) I understand Alex won't try to break the Greek market, it is kind of irrelevant for her, it is just a market I know and i could comment on. 7) I don't think she'll do well in Europe because she's not properly 'equiped', but still this is a prediction facts are what makes the difference at the end of the day. :blink: Don't get carried away... europe IS a tough and unstable market (lots of different countries with different tastes) trust me on that, most uk only acts rarely enter top10 in even a single european country. I seriously doubt bad boys will chart high anywhere. Greece:52? lol I'm half Greek (note the flag) and she is totally nobody there {take a look at what's higher than her lol!} It should be Alex fans from UK downloading from Greek itunes...(there is a Greek x-f but it's not very powerful promotion-wise) I don't blame her though Greece is really unpredictable market and I know a lot about it! ;) I can't find her anywhere in my greek itunes btw By saying promontional tour in Europe you mean? Which countries? I think a promo tour is a good marketing idea but don't expect too much, she doesn't have sth really catchy in her bag to make an effective introduction... [if she does well please prove me wrong, that could mean a lot have changed...]

I knew they were going to do sth stupid, the genious EMI... I knew it would be morning sun from day one because it has been the song that received the best critics and it's also special to him, but at March? The brits week is getting superbusy but hey, he is receiving the biggest award! Hope is gets as massive as possibe since its my favorite from the album but EMI's strategy doesn't seem to help at all. Could we expect a nice video and a proper b-side at least?

So many artists cannot produce sth good so fast and all together, they will probably team up like a choir... and as much as I may love many of them the result of such acts usually is an abomination... I can only hope that many from Simon's list will refuse to sing and will just support the single

It has a bit of the rudebox type brit-rap, it's catchy. Top 10 perhaps even top 5. Hopefully not a no1, it would be hugely unfair... :puke2: Chartwise it'll probably trouble top10 to be pushed down after the brits . I would say Owl city will hold the top spot until sb knocks them down... but not many songs have that potential in the chart... Why the hell would glee suddenly rise? :puke2: If one shot gets massive it could go no1 in one of the following weeks (I doubt it). Otherwise Owl City will be no1 for 3 weeks lol! :o The Brits-era may eventually change that...

Should have released earlier, it is going to be the first superbusy period of the year around the brits... too much competition and I doubt the song or any promo for it will gather any spotlights on it. Voted for top 20 but could end up low top 10 or even flop with all the awards-related songs climbing up....

Jls had a wonderful year but let's face it they do not deserve a brit award (neither does Alexandra). Especialy Jls beating a handful of good nominated groups will be a tragedy, so I hope and believe they won't win this. It is more than obvious now that Jls have a much more solid fanbase than Alex, but i have to agree about the 'no critical acclaim' and 'crazy teenage girls' thing... This kind of fans usually desert their "favorite" artists when the next hottie shows up, so if it is just crazy teenage girls we will soon hear a loud BOOM. +I don't really see that raw british talent in Alexandra...but this is most common with most winners of such shows. They sing very good other artists songs but they lack the personality,creativity and quality to produce such songs themselves... Only Leona and Kelly Clarkson had sth special IMO but both are weakenned. And please Fireflies CLIMB!

RKTVS must have sold about 10k last week, and I believe it will climb back this week. :angry: When is he performing on that show? If they announce the 3rd single it will instantly receive massive airplay and a lot of people will download the album version (even worse if it has no b-side). So if they are scheduling the release for the week of the brits (most likey) it will lose a lot of power and will chart in top 15 too soon... Total sales will be the same either way but the peak position will be much lower, unless if the song gets so massive that it can outsell everything in the chart even after having sold 100k+. Management must be secretly hoping to push both album and single to the top after the brits, sounds quite ambitious (it will be a busy week) but it is possible. B)

Kind of... there is still time though. I wouldn't say it has exceed (not even met) expectations from any point of view... so keep your fingers crossed for the next singles.
