Poll - Illegal downloads
The answer to the question 'what portion of all downloads do you think are illegal' is bizarre. OBVIOUSLY it is more than 90%. Look around you (at young people who actually know how to download songs from here and there). Everybody has all the big hits even the weekly hits. How many of them download them legally? Nobody, they are too expensive to have. People here may actually 'respect' and want to 'support' music more than the average person. Do not nessesarily judge by youself only. I know A LOT of people that have no credit card account, yet have a vast selection of songs. Even kids that are not old enough to have an account they can pay for have every song ;) About mysef, I do download A LOT of songs illegally and then choose a few I like to download legaly. I am an 'album buyer'; I buy my favourite 3-5 albums every year and that's enough for my budget. But illegal downloading shouldn't be approached only as a negative thing imo. I have been involved in it (in the branch of video games) and it SERVES its purpose as long as it is under control.

iTunes Chart: September (II)
 You cannot really mean that, can you? The reason Taylor Swift is popular is her beauty? I understand you do not like her but be reasonable she is talented. B-) Or perhaps I missunderstood somthing; I see you two have been replying back and forth so it could be something personal

I don't see how some people here believe Taylor Swift is the worst thing in the US charts  The truth is that she is an album seller. Her singles do not have a great chart run even though her album sales are enormous during the last few years. Outside America and Australia her singles have not been succesfull (if we count out Love story and perhaps You Belong With Me). But country music is not popular outside America and is UNpopular in the UK. Remember the low UK peak of Hey Soul Sister? It was a worldwide hit (also as far as radio and tv play are comcerned) but the UK wouldn't fall for it. Fireflies was a 'similar' case imo but mainly because of the electro-pop genre it was huge here as well.

Robbie & The X Factor
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI disagree on that. I think Gary must have seen the possibility of broadening his work (now that TT may have gotten a bit too old) to writing songs for new acts (why not to start with XF ones?). He is SUPER-boring as a judge but if he wants to take it too seriously he is welcome. He could even become a music company/label executive imo, he has what it takes. Gary was chosen to give some of his credibility to the show and that's exactly what he is doing. The show should have other more beautiful, entertaining or controversial judges sitting next to him if Gary is Mr.Credible but it doesn't and it's not his fault. Two more things I have spotted: 1)I do not get what Gary and especially Robbie have against Simon (who has been in good terms with him). In terms of shows and entertainment they would never fill half of Simons single boot. As disgusting as Simon may be he has created this whole world of XF IDOL etc. He is not the entertainer but Simon's brainstorming ability couldn't be matched by 100 Robbies and GarIEs.(!) 2)Oh and does Gary not like light entertainment TV then? As a highly educated and culurally accomplished person he certainly doesn't  . Who is he trying to fool? He has a master degree at medicine, a phd at cultural studies and a nobel prize for his achievements at CERN, doesn't he? Gary is as light entertainment as Robbie is, just much less entertaining and charismatic.

I've had the craizy feeling Leona would lose to Maroon5 from the start  Looks like Leona won't get anywhere near no1 but Maroon will get there anyway  (I don't say it is set, it just looks like this to me) You are right though the girls are still gaining, somebody posted an update before you did where M5 were getting closer. It was either a mistake of the itunes or wrong timing I guess...

iTunes Chart: September (I)
Is it me or Maroon5 are already gaining back? I expected that would happen on Thursday but so early? :o Could Pixie and Sats be that froantloaded? If at the next update Maroon5 have gained even more it could be over for the ladies that early

They won't need you. ;) They should sail to no1 with 100kish sales anyway. Just listened to it once and it's like we have already seen this kind of story too many times before. I will just (malevonlence I know) say that the are in for a hard ride and don't have what it takes, including the team around them... It's amazing how 10 yo's fall for the wrong acts all the time! Seriously (I know I am repeating myself) what is wrong with UK and boybands recently?
-
iTunes Chart: September (I)
You cannot be serious  I cannot believe this could ever happen, and by the way their loyal followers should off to bed by now    Honestly, 1D do not have that power you are talking about. They are at the stage of trying to persuade kids to buy their own single when its out, not Leona's.

iTunes Chart: September (I)
Told you Pixie would overtake... I just wonder when Maroon 5 will gain the top spot again... Friday perhaps? Thursday? I hope Leona keeps climbing. It would be a shame if she ends up lower than no4. (I have to agree about the deperation of the Sats really, it is almost like JLS selling 5 different covers)

Come on none of the songs you mentioned come even close to decent! They are as good as a cheap hit like Cheryl Cole's ones. Do you honestly believe FFTL will be remembered for years to come? There will be some younger and hotter girls to come in the following years forming their own girlband and given 'their own hits' so people would rather listen to them instead. ;) "Sugawhat? We have 3hot-tub now!"

 Name one Most of them are already dead but it all depends on how you define the 'test of time'

iTunes Chart: September (I)
Just listened to the 1D song... It is quite popular (most popular with women 13-17 , 18-24 :o , 45-54 ). How old are they? They look like BSB wannabees with (surprise surprise!) not a single patch of talent on them. Unfortunately the song is a big hit  and should sail to no1 either way :nocheer: Too many boybands in the UK right now  , I though that trend was dead and gone.

Are they? I'll go listen their song then! That should be fun! :puke2:

iTunes Chart: September (I)
The Sats had an amazing start. They did start with 3*Pixie rate really. It now looks like they are increasing with less than 1.5*Pixies rate. They are still gaining on her but the rate has dropped suspiciously fast for a few *dead* hours with little promo for either act... Pixies should be gaining on them after RoB when she will get a sizeable extra boost. (unless if she is even more froantloaded herself  ) Maroon 5 will give the ladies a run anyway.

iTunes Chart: September (I)
I thought the Sats wold get low top 10 (about 8) so I guess I am one of them. Sats fans shouldn't start the party yet... Pixie looks set to overtake the Sats within the day imo. And I wouldn't count out Maroon5 who have to be the least front-loaded of the acts competing for the no1. Leona is not doing as well as I thought she would. :(

Farrell Clothing
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThis is supposed to be formal clothing? They are a bit too fun for formal and definitely not informal. Ok one piece of them is stylish but if you put them all together it is a bit too much. A fashionist, a singer, an actor, an artist ok but they are pretendious for the rest imo. What is the target group for this colection? They are too fashionable for men in their 40s yet to stylized and expensive-looking for men in their twenties...

Red or Black
I hope her next performance will be MUCH better. It is the first time I've ever listened to Leona singing so shaky :o During the first verse I honestly though she could drop out of tempo (or even skip some lyrics) every second. The biefcase-ritual dance was a parody as well. And she was standing in the middle doing some not-fiting moves (the best way I can say it) ! Thank god the chorus did sound good (and refreshingly different from the single version) but her stage performance was weak... I really hope they kept all the good stuff and choreography for XF and they replaced it with the game-themed ridiculous rountines... The good thing is that it was her first upbeat appearence so she should be more comfortable next time. Plus she was beautiful and really different from the cliche Leona we were used to. All in all I didn't honestly feel this was a Leona-class performance. (I do not think I will ever watch it again)

iTunes Chart: September (I)
Why? It is too soon to say anything because all contenders are on the run now but if we HAD to make a conclusion it would be that the Sats would be the highest entry (by far) and Marron 5 would get the no1. (I do not believe the Sats will get that high though. They will 'typically' just crush into the top ten and the move backwards.  )

iTunes Chart: September (I)
Pixie and Leona are both doing fine. I expect they should both get inside the top 10 by tomorrow and no2 + no1 by sunday night... It still looks to me like Marron 5 / Xtina will be tough competition for the ladies. Although I like Leona and Collide 10 times more MLJ is more of a hit song really. XF should do the trick, without it Maroon 5 would sail to no1 imo.

'Glassheart' • Third Album
The cover is ok (not good, not bad imo). But the photoshopping was not enough... :o I cannot believe they would let her hand look that old at the picture. Also the shading looks like she is growing beard! The title on its own is pretty bad. It's a bit like a closer Collide isn't it?

The Official Site part 2
7heDreamer posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatAnother blog... Honestly, I do not like his blogging lately... He smiles and has the (scotch-bright) dog in a towel and comments 'she just had a bath, bless her!' And the first fan comment is 'what a great daddy you are!' Seriously, WHAT are they injecting him? Aunt-Daisy-have-a-cup-of-tea hormones? I hope he doesn't give birth to a dog after that! Do they also inject the fans?

True! If you click the stats opion (little box next to the view count) youtube has some feedback about the origin of viewers. Leona's views from UK are far less than 75% as expected. She is not THAT popular worldwide but the UK's millions of people cannot match the billions on a worldwide scale can they? It looks like Leona's video could be anywhere between 5-10 million views until the release date.

Leona Lewis & Avicii - Collide - Where will it chart?
She really stands out of the competition with this video. Se should easily get the no1 now imo. (also taking into account her strong promo plans)

Leona = The most beautifull woman of 2011! THIS was a stunning video. It should do tons of help for the song. Seriously this is a very good video. I was a little worried when I saw her in the car that it was going to be cheap but it was not. Average comeback single, great comeback video. (it is her best video yet imo)
