Hello, and welcoming to the semi finals in Lorikeet – where so far nothing too disastrous has happened yet. Phew. Well except Kopecka nearly not competing, various people being late at confirming and a general atmosphere of omg this will all descend into chaos at any moment.

Anyway at this point you will be separated into 2 semis of 22, with 13 of qualifying from each, which along with Lorikeet and Kopecka will make up the final 28.

1. If you do not vote before Sunday, December 6th at 3:00pm 33% of your achieved points will be deducted leaving you with the incredibly high chance of not qualifying for the final altogether.

2. All votes get PM'd to me (Aled.). You may not reveal who you voted for until after the SF results have been announced.

3. Kopecka are to vote in BOTH SEMIS.

4. The voting works in the following manner: Favourite - 12 points, second favourite - 10 points, third favourite - 8 points, fourth favourite - 7 points. You get the picture.

oh dear...not good at all, hopefully I can qualify from semi 1, but as Xylem says, it's incredibly indie/alternative dominated with Ashton/Numayania in the opposite semi :( not to worry, I have confidence in Caroline, it's my favourite non-GaGa song at the moment :kink:

And I'm with the pop crowd. :( I don't want a third DNQ. :/

I'll swap you Ben :lol: The Good Natured doesn't deserve to DNQ :( having said that, a few songs I really want to give points to are in my semi so I'm happy about that :D

Interesting that I'm sandwiched between Elin Lanto and Mimmi Sanden...I think that's the 2nd time I've been between the Swedish pop :)

Well it was fun to get 16 straight qualifications. I might as well go home now.

 

The only three I would have expected something from (Ojnoj/Xyland/Eledan (?)) are in the other semi and I seem to be in the EUROPOP IS THE BEST/R&B IS RUBBISH semi. :( Not to mention I'm with James 'Keri = worse than death' P.

 

Hopefully the fact that it's on a German soundtrack will give it more appeal to those voters? (who am I kidding, 20 points will be a struggle)

 

I do hope someone does MP3s, I only (vaguely) know 5 or 6 from my semi. ;_;

yeah, I'm not in semi 2 but over the whole 44 songs, I already know about a third of them, which is quite high, usually I only already know 7 or 8 out of 50+ :o I guess it's expected though, less new music leaks at this time of year, it's more about end of the year stuff, and in particular end of the decade stuff at the moment on blogs and such
