Queen of Soon Joined: 24 May 2007 Posts: 74,094 User: 3,474	FSR Rontvia next; Good evening Ashton, thank you for the great show, this is Anna Abreu calling and here I present the results of the Rontvian televote – it was a quite dodgy selection with 8 songs receiving no televotes whatsoever – the top ten all received great support from the public however and here are the points we gave; 1 Point goes to BaNG for Macy Gray - Winter Wonderland 2 Points go to Elëdan for Josh Groban & Brian McKnight - Angels We Have Heard on High 3 Points go to Kopecka for Connie Francis - Warm This Winter 4 Points are awarded to Quotosibb for India.Arie & Stevie Wonder - The Christmas Song 5 Points go to Xyland for Aqua - Spin Me A Christmas 6 Points go to FSR Farahtyn for Atomic Kitten - Merry Christmas Everyone 7 Points go to Ashton for Sugababes [feat Jools Holland on Piano] - White Christmas And now for the big three; 8 Points go to Greenfroze for Tessa Sunniva - Everybody's happy – a very enjoyable new Christmas song that we had not heard before in Rontvia!!! 10 Points go to Angelicland for one of Rontvia’s biggest selling xmas hits this year, All I Want For Christmas Is You by Måns Zelmerlöw & Agnes. A predictable choice it may be but we do love our scandi-pop here in Rontvia, and we also love that song – not to mention how much we love the two artists involved!!! But the 12 Points is reserved for a surprise; a song that has always flopped in Rontvia before due to being sung by a then 10 year old boy (or was he younger!?!). Note to self if running any Xmas related contests/countdowns (like BJ Most popular Xmas Songs) make sure they are done before Christmas Eve. Early days but it looks like my attempt at entering a 1980s satire song has not translated well to 2009.
