Definitely, I always forget how much I love Te Stein :wub: The 2009 competition was amazing!

 

2010 was pretty weak, A1 aside, and Bjorn Johan Muri I guess! Maria's song was completely bland, and Mira's was good but she's done better. I've forgotten all about Didrik already after his ESC disaster :kink:

Oh Venke Knutson's song was pretty great actually, would have been great for MGP/Eurovision a couple of years ago but that sounds a bit old now I guess...

Yeah, the only song I actually liked this year was Yes Man. :lol: I forgot I liked Carrie from MGP 2009, too. :kink:

More Publiners? Oh please, NO. I really liked MGP 2010, there are probably six songs that I wouldn't have minded going to Eurovision.

 

So it seems MGP is starting a week later next year...does this mean both the second chance & the final will clash with MF? :unsure:

MGP 2009 was awesome, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who loved Jane Helen! 2008 was not too bad either, Andagassii and Always Always in particular were awesome, as was Maria of course. Wonder if Alexander Stenerud will show up for the 4th year in a row next year, and will he ever learn how to climax a song properly! :kink:

There was another good song in 2008, I think you sent me Ghosty (why did you change your name by the way? :o), Veronika something? How Am I Supposed To Love Again I think it was called, I'm sure I've kept it on my iPod anyway.

 

I guess MGP 2010 had no songs that would have brought Norway a top 5, although I do think A1/Bjorn could have challenged for the 8-15 area in the final. I'm more interested in MF next year as it's the 50th anniversary show apparently, so should be rather spectacular, as well as the fact that there are 50/50 wildcards and jury selected songs, so should be more big name artists.

Fair point. Yes that's right, very high quality different sounding song.

 

Maybe it's my personal opinion coming into play slightly there, as for me the A1 song trampled all over the rest of the MGP songs, and is still top 15 in my YTD chart! I really think the juries would have liked it a lot, and the public a fair bit too. I definitely could envisage it in the lower top ten. The likes of Bjorn and Eric Saade are really hard to call, loads of teen boy chart pop always appears in MF/MGP but none of these songs actually ever win, so we can't really tell how they'd do at ESC :lol:

Yeah, agreed there :( Usually albums are short to keep the quality quota high. I can only imagine how bland it would be if she'd thrown on some more filler to pad it out to 12/13 tracks instead of 9.

I like the new single, but it's not close to her best :)

 

Axel Hennie is a good actor, and IRL he look okey, but on pictures he always look uncomfortable :P
