I don't see why people complain about artists releasing books
I can understand being annoyed by a song as you are more likely to hear it/see the video, but books are usually for the big fans, so if you don't want to read/see it you can easily avoid it If theres a demand for it, I don't see why they shouldn't release one. They have a fairly loyal fanbase, who will be interested to see what they have to say |

For those who were complaing about the girls having a book, I've read the book and in it, Rochelle says that their manager listed a pile of things that the new girl-group would be doing over a period of a few years "Recording an album, supporting Girls Aloud on tour, releasing a book (!), releasing a perfume (?)"

I actually enjoyed the book! It was a surprisingly informative read, especially the parts regarding their audition process. A far better book than Girls Aloud's one from 2008, for sure.
