Posted December 8, 201014 yr Apparantly the Girls Aloud mailing list sent out an email today detailing Nadine's second solo single as 'Put Your Hands Up' (- for some reason it's not been sent to me :(). But thanks to gooddelta, we know the release is on the 21st of February next year. It's one of my favourite songs on the album, but knowing the previous single and the album's success, it won't do much to the charts at all. Here it is to listen to for all those who haven't had the fortune to hear the #47 smash album yet:
December 8, 201014 yr It is one of the best songs, but I can't see it peaking any higher than Top 75.
December 8, 201014 yr At this point it doesnt really matter in terms of chart sucess, nothing will likely reach the top 100 let alone 40/75 so at least we can bask in the knoledge that unlike the Girls Aloud team, Nadine is at least able to release the best singles from the album. This would have been my second choice following 'Red Light' anyway. I do hope the video isnt just Insatiable Part II though.
December 8, 201014 yr I love the song so much, I prefer it to 'Insatiable', which I got quite bored of a bit quickly tbh. :( I wish this would be a top 5 hit, but it's obvious that's never going to happen. :/

December 8, 201014 yr The mailing list reminded me about the official Sarah calendar too :heart: Shall be adding that to my Xmas shopping list for myself :lol: I just hope the physical isn't Tesco exclusive again. My collection has been ruined by that debacle!

December 9, 201014 yr Such a shame when her music is 100x better than Cheryl's :coffee: I know. :( This is probably the best chouice but it doesn't matter, nothing she releases will probably make the top 200 so it's a lost cause. :(
December 9, 201014 yr Such a shame when her music is 100x better than Cheryl's :coffee: I think she's overrated (by pop fans, not general public of course). She isn't half as talend as people say. She has great singing abilities but her writings are quite average and she's nowhere near the likes of Natasha Bedingfield or Adele for example.
December 9, 201014 yr I think shes a really really good writer, imo almost every track on the album is brilliant. Not the most commercial of songs but written well. Whereas Cheryl's seem to be the other way round, not the best lyrics but commercial. (And I don't hate Cheryl before everyone barks at me, I own everything she has released so far)

December 9, 201014 yr Imagine if the video was her shopping in Tescos... :lol: But seriously, if Tesco wants to sell the album why not make an advert and stick her choons on it (a la John Lewis with Ellie Goulding). TV advertising is the best promotion for music.

December 9, 201014 yr Author If we're going along the Tesco theme, I think the single version should be a remix with Mary Byrne; the two of them can be on the checkouts together putting their hands up.
