Welcome to the second semi-final of The Best of the Buzzjack Song Contest XLI-L hosted here in the beautiful city of Sjan Montrié at the heart of central Ashton!

 

As Cal said, the running order has been decided by Platinum sponsor Random.org. Please have a quick read over the rules before diving into the songs as this contest uses the ESC System unlike WYRMT.

 

So, for this semi:

1] Send your votes to me, Silas

2] The points system used for the semi will be the Eurovision System (12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) The ten songs with the highest amount of points will advance to the Grand Finale, which will be hosted in Morpeth Cove, Ashton.

3] You can only vote in TBO if you have participated in at least one contest within this decade [XLI - L].

4] You must vote in each semi that you are in, and it is strongly encouraged that you vote in them all. So, if you have one song in the first semi and two in the second semi, then you must vote in both. If you do not vote, you will incur a 15 point deduction on ALL of your entries in this semi final!

5] You may not vote for your own entries for reasons that should be obvious.

6] Winning tracks have already qualified for the final.

I was thinking the same thing. There are a lot fewer essentials here.

I too have voted. This semi is MILES ahead of Semi 1 in terms of quality. Had a hard time narrowing it down to 10. :(

SO much better than semi 1, I had 19 songs I would happily have given points to here. The top 5 are all super brilliant, though OBV I can't vote for the best song here.

Voted. The top few votes are probably fairly predictable, but I've made amends in a couple of cases where I never gave things the points I should have too...

Voted. By far and away the stronger Semi!

Results from Ashton should be good to go at 18:30, maybe 1900 at the latest.
