Fillipino Cheesa Laureta has broken the 3 contest run of bad luck for Unovia, with her song I'm Not Perfect making the final of BJSCLVI in Caerfryddia. A duet with former BJSC winner and fellow Fillipino Charice (who conquered the contest with Louder), the song was released as her debut single following her participation on the third season of The Voice US under the mentorship of Cee-Lo Green. Despite average odds of 48/1 and only one prediction to qualify, which were both much worse than the previous 2 DNQs, the song triumphed over the unlucky few who didn't qualify.

I think if I actually look for entries, not just get whatever comes up that I like then maybe so! I doubt you'll like what looks like being my entry either but I love it too much to let it go.

Bones really should have been top ten in the final, that DNQ was a disgrace :(

Cheesa proves she isn't perfect

 

The Caerfryddian BJSC LVI final saw major disappointment for Unovia as Filipino artists Cheesa and Charice failed to impress the BJSC audiences and finished 30th with 30 points, with only Botanikka's Falling In Love by 2NE1 (which was well liked in Unovia) finishing below with 27 points. The lowest final placing ever for Unovia saw the pair only gather 30pts, which was to be expected following less than pleasing odds and predictions almost unanimously forseeing a bottom 5 placing, although this is still an improvement on the three consectutive DNQs from Unovia that preceeded I'm Not Perfect. In the days leading up to the next contest in Trifoski, which follows the country's shock debut win with Ghost City's So High, rumours have emerged of a very different type of entry for Unovia, but watch this space for more on that matter...
