SOOO excited for this album :wub: Really hope they include Best Song Ever on it but I have a feeling that will only be a song for the movie...

Just Can't Let Her Go sounds good, you can tell they're taking a far more mature sound now. The production is pretty fresh and current if not slightly generic. But it must surely only be some sort of demo, or a rough version of the song. It sounds so messy and ends so abruptly.

Oh yeah it's definitely low quality, sounds like it was recorded and then uploaded that way. Either way, I'm excited to hear it properly, sounds different for them and that's definitely a good thing. August 29, 201311 yr One Direction have described their upcoming album as "quite retro". "[it's a]very rock direction," Liam Payne told MTV. "We actually spent a lot of time writing this album. We're very proud of it, so we can't wait for it to come out. "It's very live sounding, very rock-y. [it's] quite retro, but it's very different so we are hoping people will kind of adjust to the music with us." One Direction will support their third studio album with their first ever worldwide stadium tour next year, which will include shows at London's iconic Wembley Stadium. I'm excited to hear what direction they're going in with this album!
August 29, 201311 yr Best Song Ever is enjoyable but the album needs to pull away a bit from that sound. Little Things showed that their fans will buy into anything but it also showed they can appeal to some people outside the fanbase.

The 'Get Lucky' star revealed that he is in talks to write songs for the boyband's third studio album Midnight Memories, which is released on November 25. "We are definitely talking. From what I've heard of their new stuff I'm pleasantly surprised. Their new stuff is definitely a progression and an elevation. I will hopefully be getting involved as we are definitely in talks," Williams told the Sunday Mirror. "I don't think some people realise how hard those boys work. There is so much more that goes into One Direction than just the band. They are a brand and are huge. They are incredibly hard-working. I'm sure it will excite our female fans if we're on a record together." Simon Cowell added: "I spoke to Pharrell about working with us on something. I've known him for a long, long time and he was saying to me that it's just unbelievable what's happening with him." He is absolutely at the top of his game right now. Hopefully we will have a Pharrell track if that works out well." Liam Payne was photographed in a recording studio with Williams last month.
