Almost a year away but we have a trailer!

Think Ben will be great in the role. I'm big on Jesse Eisenberg too so hopefully he brings it.

New trailer.

DC look like they might hit the ground running but there's a lot to cram in to one movie there.

Anyone else watch the panel from CC? Am I alone in finding Gal the most annoying woman ever?

Batfleck certainly looks the most convincing big screen version of Batman yet

What. Is. The. Actual. Point.

Superman can travel at thw speed of light, well more, literally breaking the laws of physics, a subject comic book writers were never good at. Batman would not and could not be a challenge.

I mean!

Pile of shet just like Avengers really.

Superman has a strong moral compass though and is, more often than not, a humane person. he uses his powers to protect people and wouldn't normally use them

to cause harm, unless he had to. As far as I can tell, Batman doesn't do anything that Superman feels requires him to go apeshit on him. Batman knows this and would easily use it

against him.

It doesn't take a genius to work out how this will most likely pan out.

Batman is pissed with Superman having Godlike powers and the sheer destruction caused at the end of Man Of Steel and feels Superman must be stopped. Being much smarter than Superman he learns his weakness, obtains Kryptonite and goes up against him. It's one Hell of a fight because Superman has no desire to kill Batman and holds back despite the green stuff leveling the playing field a bit and Bruce has no desire to kill Superman either. They both realize eventually that they belong on the same side and this becomes particularly obvious when a proper villain turns up. They team up together and set the path towards the Justice League, both aware that they can keep each other in check should anything make one of them go bad. Batman can always outsmart Superman, and Superman would always beat batman in a fight.

This may not be the exact plot of the film but you can bet it's not going to be far off.

I think it'll all be about politics: Billionaire Brice Wayne gets sniffy about poverty-stricken aliens entering the country with no border checks, no official adoption records, no money and then lord it all over his political mates by ignoring the law and becoming a vigilante fighting his equally country-entering illegal aliens. That, after all, is his job - fighting costumed nutters with the help of an underage (or young man) in tow, depending on which Robin is it.

It's all about jealousy and testosterone... :P

PS I love Batman and Superman.

It's more to do with Batman being worried about Superman possibly going mad with power and getting out of control
It's more to do with Batman being worried about Superman possibly going mad with power and getting out of control

well that'd be a serious rewrite of the characters if it were true and Supes was mad with power  Superman is the sane, moral, righteous, self-sacrificing Everyman, Batman is the dark, fractured, rich, suspicious, judgemental risk-taker.

The film's climax: Batman learns to trust someone other than Alfred....Superman learns he can trust fellow-super-heroes to do the right-thing when it comes down to it, and he can't do it alone.

I'll just cut n paste that last sentence when I see it

Doomsday *.* Wonder Woman *.* LOIS LANE *.*

I've gone from outraged over Batfleck, right through anxious and cautious optimism to 'this is what Batman is supposed to be'

Was that Amy Adams in a bathtub I saw? *.*

I really don't know why, but I'm really not as excited about this as I should be. :( It's really getting to me, too! I blame 'Man Of Steel' being one huge mess (casting & acting was the only positive thing) for this.

I'm only intrigued to see if Ben can make a good Batman. I'm really thinking he can and I really hope he can prove the doubters wrong.
