Posted June 8, 201510 yr I've just finished watching the first movie in order to be able to watch and follow this one when it's released next month. S3AVcCggRnU This time Amanda Seyfried is the female lead. Hopefully it's a decent sequel, not been disappointed by Seth MacFarlane thus far and the lewder the better.
June 8, 201510 yr So excited for this and I can finally see a 15 properly in the cinema for my birthday (though that doesn't mean I haven't sneaked into 15's before- I've done that lots but I can finally stop!) I adored the 1st one so hoping this one is as funny
July 18, 201510 yr Author Don't think it was as funny as the first, but it was decent. I was enjoying it more before Sam L Jackson was introduced and I didn't think it was as good from that point on. It doesn't need to get deep / serious at all, the hospital scenes weren't working for me. And part of the plot from the first movie was being repeated so eh, get some fresh ideas MacFarlane.
July 22, 20159 yr 6 out of 10, some good gags a couple of laugh-out louds (Amanda Seyfried is such a trooper) and lots of pop culture sci-fi references, and 3 star trek actors, not least Michael Dorn dressed as a gay bullying Worf. Very gross-out at times, juvenile and irreverent. Main criticism is it's about 20-25 minutes too long, whole sections could be edited out without too much of a loss as they just delay the Gio Ribisi finale too much, and that needed introducing a bit earlier. Not as good as Ted but sequels rarely are as good.
July 22, 20159 yr I really enjoyed it. It was still laugh out loud funny but there was just something missing. I think it was a combination of Mila gone who was easily one of the best parts of the 1st movie and I just felt it didn't have as much heart/as great a story as the 1st one :( Still loved it though
