I got excited when I read "new single" thinking it was the "proper" single! It's for Alice Through The Looking Glass, but it's with Max Martin and Shellback - two of the best producers around <3 Very excited to hear this.

The Alice movies are quite dark and moody so hopefully the song is like that too *.* hope we get to hear White Rabbit too.

One of the reasons I love the Alice stories, and why I'm so excited to hear these songs, dark and moody reflects my emotions atm lol.

I wonder if white rabbit will be the b-side, or if that will just be on the soundtrack cd

I've a question about the release, as I don't follow chart music much any more...

The single is released on 15th April, but does that mean we'll get to hear it before then?

It'll just come out at midnight I assume as that's a Friday, the international new release day now. In fact we might get to hear it Thursday afternoon as obviously Australia/New Zealand enter Friday then and it'll be out, depends if anyone "leaks" it

Oooh so we may hear it on thursday, thats exciting :D Never thought of the Aussies

So is the friday release thing worldwide now? I feel so old, I really don't pay attention to charts and I feel like they've changed a lot since TTAL era started :drama: I guess it makes sense though, if its being heard and released on the same day, people are less likely to get it for 'free'

Yeah, pretty much everything is released on a Friday WW now :D there are some people who release on random days though
I miss the good old days where i'd skip school so i could go into town and buy a CD single on a monday, then be glued to the radio on a sunday afternoon to see where that single got in the charts :drama:

I was going to post this in the music video thread, but lets keep it all in one, make it easier

The music video which Pink instagramed about is for this track, and will be released early May :cheer:

(New York, NY) (April 4, 2016) – International pop icon P!nk is set to release “Just Like Fire” from Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming feature film Alice Through The Looking Glass on April 15th at all digital providers via RCA Records/Walt Disney Records. The track, which is the first single from P!nk in 3 years, will impact at radio on April 18th and a music video directed by Dave Meyers will debut in early May.

“Just Like Fire” was co-written by P!nk, Max Martin, Shellback and Oscar Holter and produced by Martin, Shellback and Holter specifically for the film. This is the first time P!nk has written an original song for a live action feature film. “Just Like Fire” will appear in the film and on the motion picture soundtrack from Walt Disney Records featuring score from four-time Academy Award® nominee Danny Elfman.

Earlier this year, P!nk recorded a cover version of the iconic song “White Rabbit” for the film’s campaign (watch here).

Alice Through The Looking Glass is an all-new spectacular adventure featuring the unforgettable characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories which stars Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska, Rhys Ifans, with Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen. The film opens in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2016.

Looks like they are using it more for the movie than an actual chart hit. Figured, but still, new visuals *.*
I've had these lyrics stuck in my head since yesterday... "I swear, you're just like fire, insteada making me colder, you keep making me hot..."

It would be great if they pushed it, seems a shame to "waste" (well, it's not a waste as it's being used but you know what I mean) a Max Martin and Shellbeck production as they're behind some amazing pop songs as well as f***in' Perfect and RYG for Pink! Maybe she's worked with them for the album too though *.*
