Same with N DNTN (that "Heartbroken" sample should save Chris). After last contest's disaster I'm not expecting to get back into the final anytime soon (maybe it's just a bit of Seven rubbing off on me but you'll never know (feat. Ariana Grande)), but I'll put myself next in line with Harmonica, Persephonia, Medhelnia and New Lexico. I WANT Adore Delano through but I just feel like it will miss out by a smidge. Also I think Love Druggie is winning this semi. Someone tell me if my math is wrong because I think I bolded twenty EDIT: Welp Math was late again so I'm making a risk and taking him out of the running. Which means I bolded myself. You guys win. Poor Triangledonia tjough :( Well who knows how it'll do, I know only too well how untrustworthy dubtrack/plug scores/predictions are, I remember just as well how I recieved 7/7 or smt predictions for Spirals to Q but it bombed :lol: If it does qualify I highly doubt it'll be far from the red line. April 16, 20169 yr I'd think Benjamin has a very good chance of qualifying in such a pop-leaning semi! Wouldn't be the first time TARO Bellamia defied a bad showing on plug/Dubtrack. Won't do near as well as 'Young And Restless' though probably. (also yay, that's more like it xx)

April 16, 20169 yr Ok, I don't mind the shitty odds, as those are for winning, which I know that I won't. BUT Am I really a 100% no-hoper for Q-ing? Rich added 20 Qs and 9 (!!) maybes, which means that there are 4 no-hopers in Semi 1, including my entry. I understand if some/most of you hate the video of 'Spacecats', but is the song THAT nothingy that basically noone gives high(er) points to it? It did get many downdubs, but downdubs doesn't mean anything, as I might updub my 11th favourite (and give it 0 points while voting) and downdub my least favourite (and again, give it 0 points) Sorry, (this time) I'm really not bitching, just trying to understand why I'm struggling again, as my entry is not the 'nice, but didn't make the cut'-kind, if it DNQs, it kinda means that nearly everybody hates it (which would be quite a shame as I like it a lot).
April 16, 20169 yr Most of this is just based on a mix of Dubtrack, hype, other people's predictions and odds, and trying to gauge what other people will think of a track. I don't think anybody's going to hate it and I'm sure you'll get some high points from some countries but overall I just expect other tracks to be more popular and 13 from each semi have to exit at this stage. None of us (apart from Seven!) can reliably predict these things with any certainty. Songs I've completely written off as a certain DNQ have gone on to come top five before, while songs I thought would win have missed the top 10. We all love or at least like our own entries so DNQ'ing is never fun, but it also doesn't mean that everyone hates those entries, just that across the board they were less popular overall.
