If people are around, I'm going to make a start with this now! Think Josh and Sam are occupied with work / life right now so I'll start with some 'smaller' categories and build up to them two revealing the major awards when they're available!

Think the plan is to do the main movie awards over today / tomorrow and save the Razzies for next weekend.

MOST ATTRACTIVE ACTOR

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2014/cbb/blog/140811/chris-pratt-1-600x450.jpg

WINNER - Chris Pratt (4 / 3)

2nd - Sebastian Stan (4 / 0)

3rd - Ryan Gosling (3 / 5)

4th - Chris Evans (2 / 1)

5th - Ryan Reynolds (1 / 3)

*this is the format I'll use throughout, with first preference votes listed first followed by the second preference votes.

Chris Pratt, last seen waking up too early and getting it on with Jennifer Lawrence in Passengers and next to be seen in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, is the first person to pick up an award! There will be an outcry as he beats out Regina fave Sebastian Stan based on second preference votes.

In the bronze medal position is La La Land star Ryan Gosling, who was top 2 for more people than any of the others!

Deserved award there I guess. Although, none of them are exactly unattractive.

SURELY Margot has Most Attractive Actress?

MOST ATTRACTIVE ACTRESS

http://ell.h-cdn.co/assets/15/29/640x320/landscape-1436740278-elle-aug-15-margot-robbie-04.jpg

WINNER - Margot Robbie (5 / 5)

2nd - Jennifer Lawrence (5 / 2)

3rd - Emma Stone (2 / 3)

3rd - Scarlett Johansson (2 / 3)

5th - Amy Adams (2 / 0)

Indeed Jonjo! But it wasn't clear cut as it once again came down to second preference votes to find out that Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie beat out Chris Pratt's Passengers co-star Jennifer Lawrence to take home the prize.

Emma Stone comes 3rd (joint with Scarlett Johansson) just like her La La Land co-star did in the Actor category.

BIGGEST BOX OFFICE DISASTER

alice.jpg

WINNER - Alice Through The Looking Glass (6 / 2)

2nd - Zoolander 2 (3 / 3)

3rd - Independence Day: Resurgence (2 / 3)

4th - Blair Witch (2 / 1)

5th - Ice Age: Collision Course (1 / 2)

6th - Ghostbusters (1 / 1)

Alice In Wonderland, back in 2010, went on to take over $1bn worldwide. The sequel managed around $300m. So err, yeah, no surprise here! The UK debut of 'Through The Looking Glass' was about 20% of what 'Wonderland' had managed.

The completely awful Zoolander 2 is the runner-up. Didn't have such a drastic drop compared to the first movie, but given inflation too.. And I think this one is more about it managing $56m worldwide against a given budget of $50m, oops.

Independence Day: Resurgence didn't quite make it to $400m worldwide - the original in 1996 managed over $800m.

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL WORLD OF f***. SEBBY'S LEFT TESTICLE IS MORE SEXY THAN ALL OF CHRIS PRATT. SEBBY SHOULD HAVE WON. WHAT THE f***.

HE SWEATS LOVE. WHEN WILL CHRIS? NEVER, THATS RIGHT. NEVER!!!

Alice deservingly walking that category there. Embarrasing drop-off.

Glad Ghostbusters didn't get too many votes here in the end after DOMINATING the nominations! That really wasn't that much of a flop, yeah it underperfomred but there were so many worse performances in 2016

BIGGEST BOX OFFICE SURPRISE

http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/multimedia/archive/01079/94ed1362-ec52-11e5_1079908c.jpg

WINNER - 10 Cloverfield Lane (5 / 3)

2nd - Deadpool (4 / 3)

2nd - Don't Breathe (4 / 3)

4th - Moana (2 / 0)

5th - The Jungle Book (0 / 4)

Nomination dominating '10 Cloverfield Lane' picks this up. It didn't gross as much as 'Cloverfield', but it did have a smaller budget and I guess over $100m against a given budget of $15m is good, and the amount of nominations it has suggests that it has a load of fans on here.

Deadpool was a massive box office smash, one of the biggest of the year and that's without a release in China, one of the largest markets. Apparently it's the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time and the highest grossing movie of the X-Men franchise.

Omg why does no one fully realise the beauty of Chris Evans, think he's been my #1 celeb crush forever now but he always seems to be the runner up in these things, never the winner !

MOST UNDERRATED FILM

http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/focus_features/kuboandthetwostrings/images/thumbnail_24628.jpg

WINNER - Kubo & The Two Strings (4 / 3)

2nd - 10 Cloverfield Lane (4 / 1)

3rd - The Girl With All The Gifts (3 / 0)

4th - Money Monster (2 / 1)

5th - Suicide Squad (1 / 3)

6th - The Shallows (0 / 3)

Animation 'Kubo & The Two Strings' picks up Most Underrated, a surprise to me, the thread for it wasn't buzzing with activity so I didn't realise as many people as seven had seen it (I gave one of the only responses in that thread and I didn't vote for it :P), and it's never seemed to gather as much vocal support as the likes of Zootropolis or Moana.

As much as I didn't love Kubo, I'm glad to see it win over 10 Cloverfield Lane in this category given the amount of nominations Cloverfield has in these awards :P

Yay at a Kubo win, wasn't expecting that but it's very worthy! Feels like almost nobody saw it :( Wish it was a bigger hit box office wise :(

Not seen 'Kubo' and I'm not sure whether I want to or not. I'm not really that big a fan on Laika animations at all really, however, I am glad that '10 Cloverfield Lane' didn't win that one haha.

All the other categories are deserved wins so far though!

Think this'll be my last award of the night before Melodifestivalen, but I'm free for some of tomorrow evening to potentially continue

BEST NEWCOMER

http://akns-images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2015523/rs_560x415-150623094935-1024-spiderman-tom-holland.ls.62315.jpg

WINNER - Tom Holland (8 / 1)

2nd - Riz Ahmed (2 / 2)

3rd - Alden Ehrenreich (1 / 3)

3rd - Anya Taylor-Joy (1 / 3)

5th - Auli'i Cravalho (1 / 2)

It's a landslide victory for upcoming Spider-Man Tom Holland who recently won the BAFTA for Rising Star. He may be a "newcomer" here, but I and I'm guessing a few others first saw him in The Impossible a few years ago and he also starred in Sam's favourite movie, 'In The Heart of the Sea'.

Runner-up is Riz Ahmed, who gained major recognition last year for his role in 'Rogue One'. Joint third placer Alden Ehrenreich will next year get major recognition for his role in another Star Wars spin-off as he portrays a young Han Solo. :magic:

There was only one choice for me with this one! Although I think "newcomer" is a bit of a loose term and should be renamed in future to "breakout" or something. Tom was amazing in 'The Impossible'!

Anya Taylor has a bright career ahead of her, too! Especially after 'Split' being the big hit it was!

I don't get why Riz was nominated though? I don't think his character in 'Rogue One' was very memorable at all tbh. And his role in 'Four Lions' was superior!
