This looks a really interesting plot anyway and the pop culture angle is really exciting too. I'm sure I saw Harley Quinn, Freddy Krueger and the Iron Giant all in there !! |

Everyone sees all that and I'm just STUNNED @ the "Come With Me (Pure Imagination)" orchestral arrangement *.*
It's giving me a Spy Kids 3D/Tron: Legacy meets Michael Bay and a lot of the rings will defo grab me so here's not hopefully it being let down. |

Loving all the pop culture references, it's fun trying to spot them all in the trailer Tye Sheridan looks fab in the lead role too, excited to see more of him in this movie as I really enjoyed him in X-men and Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse too |

Really hyped for this now after that trailer, it looks a load of fun and I'm ready for another teen dystopia movie.

Must read the book first. I bought it YEARS ago when this was announced and I have yet to read the book. I don't even want to watch the trailer until I read the book. Welp. Guess I'll go start reading the book now...
(Very excited for this!) |

Had it's premiere yesterday and critic's seemed to love it. Apparently it got a standing ovation!
Excited to see the reviews! I was a bit sceptical because although it looks fantastic, I was worried it wouldn't have much of a script and would be too reliant on the cultural references. But I guess it seems not to be the case. But I await the reviews with a clearer mind now! |

I fell asleep sadly but the bits I saw left me a bit schizophrenic - the fantasy world bits a bit ho hum and the live action bits not enough of. Kids will live it though.
