Dance Vocalists: Sean Paul

Posted May 23, 20206 yr

Who doesn’t enjoy a Sean Paul remix, and there was a time when it became a popular running joke when he would appear on many popular songs with the likes of Sia, Little Mix, The Saturdays, Blu Cantrell, Simple Plan and more and score a decent sized hit. His dance features are vast both in number and in variety of different dance genres from dancehall, tropical house and EDM in his back catalogue. He’s worked with some great producers, and here are his works;

Tik Tok (with Bob Sinclar)

Touch The Sky (with DJ Ammo)

She Makes Me Go (with Arash)

Bless Dis Nation (with Congorock & Stereo Massive)

Come On To Me (with Major Lazer)

Dangerous Love (with Fuse ODG)

Give It To Me (with Bliss & Honorebel)

One Wine (with Machel Montano)

Ebony Eyes (with Rico Bernasconi & Tuklan)

Ride It (with Borgeous, Rvssian & MRI)

Trumpets (with Sak Noel & Salvi)

Paradise (with Matoma & KStewart)

Rockabye (with Clean Bandit & Anne-Marie)

Outta Control (with Yolanda Be Cool)

Crick Neck (with Banx & Ranx & Chi Ching Ching)

Gold (with Valentino Khan)

Buscando Huellas (with Major Lazer & J. Balvin)

Ego (with Banx & Ranx & Zaho)

Feels Like Home (with Sigala, Fuse ODG & Kent Jones)

Mad Love (with David Guetta & Becky G)

Tip On It (with Major Lazer)

Fuego (with DJ Snake, Anitta & Tainy)

Which of his current dance features is your favourite?

Which dance producers would you like to see him feature with in the future?

I listened back to these songs several times before deciding what order to put them in, but in first place comes a collaboration with Sigala which failed to hit the Top 40 at the time, but still feels like it should have been a big hit. The overplayed collaboration with Clean Bandit then follows. Here’s my ratings for Sean Paul;

1. Feels Like Home (with Sigala, Fuse ODG & Kent Jones)
2. Rockabye (with Clean Bandit & Anne-Marie)
3. Tip On It (with Major Lazer)
4. Bless Dis Nation (with Congorock & Stereo Massive)
5. Ebony Eyes (with Rico Bernasconi & Tuklan)
6. She Makes Me Go (with Arash)
7. Dangerous Love (with Fuse ODG)
8. Crick Neck (with Banx & Ranx & Chi Ching Ching)
9. Tik Tok (with Bob Sinclar)
10. Ride It (with Borgeous, Rvssian & MRI)
11. Mad Love (with David Guetta & Becky G)
12. Paradise (with Matoma & KStewart)
13. Come On To Me (with Major Lazer)
14. One Wine (with Machel Montano)
15. Trumpets (with Sak Noel & Salvi)
16. Outta Control (with Yolanda Be Cool)
17. Ego (with Banx & Ranx & Zaho)
18. Touch The Sky (with DJ Ammo)
19. Give It To Me (with Bliss & Honorebel)
20. Gold (with Valentino Khan)
21. Fuego (with DJ Snake, Anitta & Tainy)
22. Buscando Huellas (with Major Lazer & J. Balvin)

I couldn’t think of too many names for him to try recording with in the future, but I’ve opted for a dance feature with Faul & Wad and a project with Naughty Boy someday too which I think could work well.
