This is the semi-final thread, you have from now until Tuesday 15th July at 7pm to send a PM to me (gooddelta) with your favourite songs from the semi-final that your country is in. Each semi-final has 17 songs in it so you will end up voting for 10 of the 16 songs as one will be your own, which you are not allowed to vote for. FSR Rontvia, MKL and Sangria must listen to all of the songs in both semi finals and cast two sets of votes, one for each semi. Please award your points in the normal way, your favourite gets 12 points, 2nd gets 10 points, 3rd gets 8 points and then down in 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 for the remaining seven countries you wish to award points to. I will compile the results during Wednesday, so any late votes will not be counted and you will have a 33% deduction from your semi-final total score, which may affect your chances of qualification. Please join me on Tuesday evening (around 7.15) where I will announce the 24 countries that have made it through to join FSR Rontvia, MKL and Sangria in the final, and will reveal the ten unlucky losers...I will also announce the draw for the final...the voting thread for the final will be opened at some point on Wednesday afternoon/evening

Hmm...they look quite evenly spread from what the odds are saying. Annie and Lily in semi 1 and Little Jackie and Kate Ryan in semi 2 and we have Little Boots as well. I'll be interested to see how I do, I think my group looks a bit stronger based on the odds, despite the winner probably being in semi 1.

semi-1 seems to have more unknown songs while semi-2 is a lot more mainstream...this was drawn completely at random so its odd how it falls

I'm not sure what to do about 'Feedback' this time, it's a former personal chart #1 of mine, but it's not exactly a cheap entry because it missed the top 75 here, though it did spend ages at #7 in the Buzzjack Multichart.

:lol: I thought the same (obv. replacing KoS with Allecian) when I saw KT Tunstall pop up in the recap vid.

 

Really pleased to be in SF1, I reckon it'll be really tight again but there's a few songs which I really want to go through to the final so hopefully I can help them in :cheer:
