Well it's got all the actual hits on it! That tracklist contains the vast majority of the songs they played when I saw them live last year, so I'm not shocked at the tracklist. I'd include 'Girlfriend' too, but I don't think they're a fan of it 🤣

Realistically I have the next 2 days to listen and vote! Good luck everyone! I'll probably try to listen to the other semi whilst I'm away, but make no guarantees! I'll be home before the final deadline though, so there won't be any issues voting (as long as I don't forget, but this has been a pretty good year for remembering to vote yay x)

I feel Art has been given slightly too many wins Vybe has been a pretty hard done by with the results (I didn't agree with either of her bottom placements, and thought she should have been in the top at least one more time iirc)... Overall, the correct top 4 has made it there! Actually, I'd say the correct Top 5, even. I'd have Estrella in the Top 6 over Flor and Coco, but we can't have it all I guess 🤣

In fairness, some of the reasons won't have happened at the time you confirmed (my chart probably being one of them!). The actual veto points (the things you would have realistically known about) only totalled 17, and winners (even recent ones) have been recycled in the past. So, even if you had checked, there's no reason to automatically assume they'd be vetoed just for being a recent winner! Excellent display of taste though! I'd recommend, anyone that hasn't heard 'Touch Touch', to give it a listen. 😊

Oh, absolutely. The transition into 'LoveDrug' is flawless... I definitely think this was intended to be on it but they held it back for Wednesday!

I always felt like this got too much hate! It's definitely within the top half of tracks on MAYHEM, and that's no easy feat. The verses, in particular, are SO GOOD. It's good to see the first few responses showing it some love. I feel like if this was released on an album surrounded by some weaker songs (but still strong), it would be given it's flowers. It's just unfortunate to have the other tracks on Gaga's best album as a comparison 🤣

Always been my favourite song from Radical Optimism and I was really rooting for it to be #1 in week one! I love my cute CD/7"/Cassette bundle for this 🥰 So glad it's finally getting its flowers!

I do like this and can see the comparisons to Chappell Roan and the likes... But for me, there's something missing... It feels like it has all the ingredients for the recipe, but you forgot to add salt or something? Like Tafty, it feels like I'll likely get bored of it soon (though I never got bored of 'Fabulous' lol). I'll take any actual pop that becomes a hit at this stage, there's just FAR better out there that isn't breaking through!

Hey DaTilt! I really enjoyed Natalie Imbruglia's new song! It feels very Carly Rae Jepsen coded to me, and leagues better than anything of the other "Algorithm" singles so far! Yeah, I really like Florrie's new one too. It can be hard for me to get into a ballady song, but this feels so dreamy to me - I'm a fan!

Hey, thanks for commenting! It really is just a matter of who I've listened to the most this week! I was busy in Manchester for pride for a good portion of this week (the main reason 'Danceteria' is back and KY Kelly has done so well!). Slayyyter has probably peaked though, but you never know! I've really enjoyed 'Touch Touch' the few times I've played it, only got a chance to listen to this week's newies towards the end of the week and that was definitely a highlight! Carly Rae has grabbed my attention lots... I really enjoy it whenever I hear it! I think it's just a victim of being lower on my playlists, I think it could have plenty of legs in it (similar to Kesha's 'ORIGAMI!' as I love it every time I listen to it!). Speaking of Carly... I think you'll really like Natalie Imbruglia's new song that I charted this week, I think it's very Carly Rae Jepsen cursed! I'm still loving 'Watch It Burn'! I think I might have overplayed it in that first week though 🤣

I think I was in one contest (65, and didn't qualify or vote oops) with Mulgracia and this might be my first with Beaverdonia? Oops at being listed in the reasoning behind yet another veto 🫣 (though I did wonder if someone would try it, and assumed it would get vetoed!).
