I think I stick to Day Tripping for now, its the one track that really sticks out on the album for me at the moment.

Bad news in the Kylienips camp, since Sharleen has failed to reach the finals this time round, they are considering of pulling out of the contest permanently. :cry:

I thought Sharleen was good, though definitely not the standout from Melody for me, the track last month was awful, I generally always like Kylienips entries but don't often give them points because often they are songs that I already know very well...e.g. Jem, Kosheen, New Order, Tasmin Archer, Ace Of Base etc...but oddly, when people send these songs that everyone knows, they seem to do very well, just look at Daft Punk qualifying this time!

I should have used the other Sandra Cretu track 'Secret Land' came 5th on Havenvision :P :lol:

 

And with Sharleen I was using something different that I never done before, by using a album track, I guess that is a no no, I was just testing the waters with it.

 

I see your point though, maybe I need to go with a male artist next time, I have someone in mind if I decide to enter the next contest.

People have used album tracks before and they've done fine. Beverley Knight won BJSC6 with an album track.

 

I just think that Sharleen woman makes terribly boring and dull music, no offense, and it seems most of BJ agrees. :( Pick something more exciting next time?
