This week was a very close two way battle between AySel and Little Boots with her second official single Remedy. In the end AySel pipped Boots to the post to equal the chart record of four weeks at the top, with no signs of slowing down. Marina and the Diamonds climbs back up to three this week with the lead single off of her EP The Crown Jewels. AySel and Arash continue to stay in the top 5 with Eurovision song Always, unlike most other ESC09 songs this song has had real staying power on the chart. And finally at #5 is Little Boot's debut single UK flop New In Town, the song lost out in a simarlarly close battle with AySel last week. This is the first time that two artists have had two different songs in the top 5. Florence and the Machine stays at #6 with Rabbit Heart and Pixie Lott gets her second top 10 with Mama Do. Sirusho falls to #8 with BJSCSOII 18th placed song Erotas as Inga and Anush re-enter the top 10 with Jan Jan and it's Sirusho again at #10 with Time To Pray. The Eurovision revival continues at #11 and #12 with Hadise and Kejsi Tola holding on. La Roux's Bulletproof almost matches its peak at #13 and Jordin Sparks is new at #14 with Battlefield, can this song lead to her second #1 hit? VVBrown climbs to #15 this week as Pixie has a mini resurection with Here We Go Again, the former number 1. Alex Roots, Agnes and Yohanna all bomb down the chart as Black Eyed Peas round us off at #20 this week with Boom Boom Pow. Another chart record to note is that this is the first time three songs recorded by Armenian artists have appeared in the top 10 :kink:.

Back to the land of albums now and Mira Craig's second run at the top lasted as long as her first as Little Boots storms to the top spot with her debut Hands, the album is officially released tommorow and as I already have virtually every track from it :kink: it has already stormed to the top. Mira Craig's woes don't end there as Ghetto Fairytale is also passed by the Eurovision soundtrack which remains steady at #2. Polly Scattergood climbs back up to #4 and Lenka impresses yet again to remain in the top 5.
